Mornin' all! It was plenty warm for February yesterday, and the rains came last night. I don't remember many February instances of thunder, but man, there were some boomers. Temps have gone down and the rain is snow now, doesn't look like we're getting a lot.

Fern, that stinks. You at the mercy of the machine shop, or are they waiting on parts? I don't think I'm making it either, will have plenty to do myself to get ready for the season. Starting to get my WFC plan together. I'm glad your daughter is stopping in on you both.

J, that's a nice Malibu. My buddy just bought one in December, set up similarly, to get himself back in the game.

Good morning to all... weather in mid 80s so much for winter... That's about 15 degrees about average , what's the summer going to bring us is my big worry!! Smart me painting the car black ...LOL

Chuck,first thing Mannie ask me to do for him was put a piece of plastic off a milk jug on his front wheel so he could go clicking along,and I kept hearing music the other day while he was out riding,and he had Z-Tied a blue tooth speaker on the front bars and was playing his music off his I-Phone while he rode,I quess we are in the 2016's with some old favorites.........lol.........

Mornin' all! TGIF! Man that wind was blowing last night, and this morning. Looking like a nice weekend though. Our racers banquet is tomorrow night, always a good time seeing everyone. Sunday is looking beautiful, mid to high 50s and sunny.

J, got the PM and pics, looks awesome! I'll try to get those up quick. Staying black? Or rolling with that for now? There's no way I'd make it through an AZ summer. Dry heat or not, that's too freakin' hot.

Mike, I'm with you, my preference is not too hot or cold, but grateful for every day on the green side of the grass, even if it has snow on it. That's good stuff, Mannie going old school and new school at the same time. Though, we used baseball cards in the spokes.

What's up folks? This weekend should be decent with weather but breezy.

Will be picking up my parents from the airport tomorrow. Was down in Florida for about a month and will be back for about two weeks, and then down there again for probably another couple weeks. My dad said he wants to get the wagon done. So that will be exciting. Then hopefully start testing real soon.

Still got a lot to do, putting the car back together is not and easy task for someone who can't any remember what happen yesterday...I just hope the dog remembers.... the car is satin black so I'm painting fiberglass bumper a contrasting color.... shiny Black... all the chrome trim I'm hitting with a stainless wire wheel to kill the shine, and then spraying black and wiping them down before they dry , paint only stays in scratches....looks very industrial ....

Mike, that spoke deal never got old as a kid, I'm think I need some on my pit bike....

Aired up the tires on the trailer yesterday and checked the battery tenders to make sure batteries were up to snuf. Race truck tender showed green, good to go. Trailer tender still showed red. Been on there for 2 weeks. Checked the connections and I had it hooked backwards. Must of had a blonde moment. Didn't seem to hurt anything. It must have wrong connection protection.

Good news today---Motor builder is coming next weekend to install my new motor in the car for me....don't get no better than that. I might get to race after all. Had birthday party for Grand daughter yesterday and Mama has been good the last few days---sometimes we are blessed. Hope everyone is OK. Big Flea and free race at the Farm this weekend probably where Big Mike is. Floyd I may have to get new batteries for the Motor home, they aren't looking good, all 6 of the trailer tires still had 40lbs of air, didn't try to start the generator or the scooter. Had my 65 GTO conv in there and its got a lot of mildew on it so I put it in the garage with the heat after I took it for a ride. Hope everyone is ok

I was supposed to go to the Pitt-Duke hoops game with them yesterday, but a little ticket snafu bumped me out. Our racers banquet was Saturday night, always a good time seeing everyone in the off season.

J, that sounds like a really cool paint scheme... well, cool looking, anyway. I'm thinking you are crazy, black paint in the AZ heat. It gets pretty toasty in the Cutlass, with a black interior and black vinyl top, on the hot summer days. I'd spontaneously combust out there.

Floyd, better than hooking up the battery cables wrong, and trying to start it. That will kill an MSD box quick. Don't ask me how I know.

I'm going to miss the March Meet for the first time in over 20 years. I've got my entry, race gas, food and all loaded up but my feet flaired up on me and I ain't going to be able to go.
Going to try accupuncture. What have I got to lose? The doctor says they are getting better but he's on the outside looking in. I'm the one that is hurting. I can't see driving 300 miles and be miserable all weekend.

Hey guy's ... Good morning! Weather out west still 15 degrees above average... I hear more bad things about the National in Chandler , It seems you one leave the Indian police had the traffic going by the Casino and Shopping mall (a 45 minute detour) with no real reason. LOL

Floyd take your golf cart or whatever you ride in the pits and at least go watch---Ferns excited now---got to the motor home today. That boy has 5 $150+ batteries and 2 were bad but I got lucky and 1 was free. Filled it up with diesel at $1.69 and it took $85 to fill it. Looking like I might get to the track after all

Fern you're probably right but everything is loaded and the UTV is in the front, of course. I've got another Drs appt Friday afternoon. Gotta figure out how to stop the burning and itching. Was able to wear the compression socks all day yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Hurtin feet is kinda like a tooth ache. Just makes you miserable. I try to keep my feet up as much as possible. That helps a lot. Kinda hard to do driving for 4 hours. The race will be on Bangshift so I'll get to wtch it some.

Looked over the car with my dad after he came back from vacation. The exhaust I bought off someone needed extenders from the headers to the midpipe since we were a few inches short, plus it needed help to clean the trans crossmember.

Great Morning , another hub day is here... could not be happier.. Friday going to 90 degrees then by Monday high of 63 , wacky weather... fuel jumped .10 cents over night across the board, how does that happen... who made all the calls? "Hey we raising the price, do it" LOL
