Mike I had planned to stop yesterday but because of the fog it became last night. Took me 8 hours to get home. Hope everyone is ok. Kids say Mama is ok and I'll go check today. We thinned down the deer population getting 7 between 6 of us all very nice sized from 6 t0 14 points. Had a good Thanksgiving dinner in the house I was born in 74 years ago cooked by my brothers wives----A trip back there is always good for the soul. Double Thumbs up

Morning all. Was a good thanksgiving. Had my wife's side over for turkey day. My parents were traveling down to their place in Florida for turkey day.

All in all, good on this side of southeast PA.

Mornin' all! Hanging in there, trying to get adjusted to not racing, not seeing racing, for a little bit. Time to get crackalackin' in the garage. New fuel system and update the rear end, only spinning one tire on occasion toward the end of the season, definitely being done.

Mike, that is great news, I hope it goes great. I have 2 friends on prosthetics, takes some adjustment, so keep your head up if it takes a little time to get right.

Fern, that had to be really good for the soul, great stuff. Congrats to your crew on the deer season success. A couple of racers got bucks yesterday, but most are still looking.

1258, I wasn't too far from you on the weekend, in Berwyn.

You all have a great day!

WOW.... Good Morning.. Been running all morning long trying to get ahead at work, five days of eating, drinking , sanding, grinding and all out partying....now work.... Weather at the house this morning a brisk 29, took a lot of time just to warm up the dually.... LOL

Mike , happy for you.... but take it slow... You do not need to take a tumble....

Glad to hear all you guys had a great holiday , we had a couple people over and had a good time till my wife's the 7 pound dog started bite at the ankles of your guest as they left..... All I could guess as she didn't want anyone to leave...Hahaha No one was hurt as she would need teeth to do damage....

Well Everyone have a great day.....

J178RED don't you live in Tucson? I cut meat 1/2 the day then went to visit Mama. She was glad to see me and got real wide eyed when I showed her the pics of the deer and the kids. Had a good visit but had to get out of there early because of the fog. 60mi in the fog is no fun but not as bad as that 400 yesterday. Chuck I was in Morgantown Sat, not that far from you......Mike you know we have a racer here that you probably know has one of those artificial legs. If he didn't tell you you would never know it. He was footbrake champion at the Far awhile back. Double Thumbs up You will be OK.

Mornin Y'all!
Mikery, glad to hear about the new leg. Go slow and learn to use it like all them soldiers you see on TV.
Fern, that's good news. Sounds like Mama is coming along good.
I've got a leg issue that I pray to God it doesn't go as far as our buddy Mike. Started out as a small sore on my ankle that wouldn't heal. PCP sent me to a dermatologist who put me on some steroid cream twice a day for 2 weeks. A rash developed that has now spread to both ankles and up my legs. Last weekend the right leg balooned up like I over inflated it. Dermatologist said the cream wasn't working and I needed to see a wound specialist. Had a regular checkup with my cardiologist Monday and he ordered an ultra sound of both legs. Had that done yesterday and the tech didn't find anything wrong but I won't know for sure for a couple of days. The wound specialist called to set up an appointment for this Friday. Did you know they make house calls? Hope she brings her massage table with her. Got a cracked pad on the ball of my right foot that makes it hard to walk. I start pedrazone today and lasix for the swelling. I'm falling apart. Gotta be a reaction to something but I don't know what.
It's hell getting old.
Y'all have a gooden. Stay tuned for the next saga. Praying Angel hug

Chuck that is probably about 15-20 minutes from me depending on route and traffic. That's part of the mainline as they call it around here.

Mornin' all! Over center day. Rain today, been here since yesterday, but for December in Pittsburgh, it means we don't have to shovel like we would if it was 20 degrees colder.

J, I'll try to remember to get the pics up this week. Sounds like you were making some more progress.

Fern, driving in the fog is no bueno. Came through some pea soup on the PA pike on the way home, had to slow it down a bunch. Yep, you weren't far from me at all.

1258, I learned about the mainline when my brother got married. Interesting.

Floyd, I hope you knock that out soon. Scary stuff. It might be hell getting old, but it beats the alternative! Big Grin

You all have a great day!

Mornin Y'all!

Mikey, I'm staying on it. You're right, I stopped using the one cream and the rash is going away.

My problems are nothing compared to those poor folks over in San Bernardino. That building is about 2 miles from where I work. I couldn't believe it when I first heard about it. Don't know what this world is coming to. We are going to hell in a hand basket.

Praying Angel hug

Mornin' all! TGIF! Nice looking day out there, with the sun, still in the high 40s, very welcome for Pittsburgh in December. Nice looking weekend too, hoping to make some hay cleaning things up in the garage and house, get ready for the offseason plan.

J, I know that kind of progress (on the bank account) all too well. I hope they have the lid to you in time for paint. I'd come help, but you'd have to buy a LOT of pizza to offset my commuting cost. Big Grin

Floyd, glad to hear the rash is starting to clear. I'm guessing you're using the old "I picked up a little something from a little something I picked up" line. Big Grin No one needs to know the little something is a cream.

Thoughts go out to those in San Bernardino. All the more reason to get some ice cream with people you love. You all have a great weekend.
Ice Cream

Mornin y'all!
Wound specialist made her house call. She washed my legs and feet, put lotion all over them and put a bandage on my wound. Then she put my shoes and socks back on. She's a podiatrist. Gave me a prescription for a antibiotic and left me the supplies I need. She will be back on Tuesday to follow-up.

Mornin' all! I hope you all had a good weekend. I should have been more productive, but I had a good time. Nice win by the Steelers last night, but let's see how they do against the Bungles next.

J, I've slept on plenty of floors, not a problem. Can we make it Los Dos instead, and hoist a margarita to Guy?

Mike and Fern, I hope you guys made it to the Farm and had some fun.

Floyd, I hope you are well on your way to mending up.

You all have a great day!
