Mornin' all, TGIF. So windy out there, I thought I saw Dorothy and Toto. Tongue Not sure what the weather will bring for tomorrow. PRP is supposed to have a test and tune, and I'm supposed to be on the mic.

Fern, thoughts are with your wife, you, and your family.

J, I hate a thief. I've had my car broken into in the sketchy neighborhoods I lived in, and only lost a socket set and a little cash. That was frustrating enough. I couldn't imagine losing my race ride to a thief. And no, you were not too harsh.

Ice cream is good medicine. Time for a healthy dose. You all have a great weekend.

Lurker! Big Grin
Two 2 liter bottles of Mt Dew, AND they even took my damn Homer Simpson Pez dispenser (in addition to the socket set, and change from the console).

Morning all. Sounds like it's pretty active in here.

Went to The Ritz Carlton Symposium yesterday to really get some great insight on how they operate and drive their culture. That's my main role within my company so I need to learn how the best do it.

My pops ended up ordering a Blue Print 383 engine for the wagon. I may actually get to race it next year. I think he needed something to tinker with.

Also, does any one live in Arizona?

Good morning folks hope everyone is well....ICU gave Mama good marks yesterday and last night so that is good. Da m shame what happened in Paris last night right after Obama said ISIS was on the run.....people killed like fish in a bowl. Yes Mike its a nice day to go outside and I am glad you are up for it. Faye understands that the "TATER MAN" is limping but she don't need any Taters anyway right now. You folks stay away from those crowded places and keep your guns loaded....Understand?

Mornin' all, happy Monday. Nice looking day out there, plenty of sun, makes me want to go out and play. Probably got my last fix of the season yesterday, fence leaning at test and tune. It's wild to me how street cars have progressed. When I first started bracket racing in the late 90s, if you had a 12 second street car, you were considered a bad a ss. Now, most of them are in the 12s, and deep into the 11s and 10s with just a couple mods.

Mike needs our thoughts and prayers. He's fighting infection in his other leg, as of last night.

1258, what kind of wagon? Big fan of them.

Fern, glad to hear some good news out of ICU.

You all have a great day!

Hey RED, do you know anything about this car by any chance? My dad has come across it and likes it. I think he's now occupied with my car, but figured I might as well ask if you know anything about it. http://www.racingjunk.com/Nost...rvette-Stingray.html

ChuckT it's an '83 Malibu wagon. Got it dirt cheap from former racer. It's rusty but the body is pretty straight. My dad took the car to his house and has probably done more work on it in the last two days than I have in the last year. Pic when I picked it up.

No rush or need to. I think it's off my dad's mind right now with him working on the wagon.

Mornin' all! Looks like we're on our last few days of warm November weather. I'll gladly take it.

1258, cool! Let us know how the progress goes. What is home track for you, out there in the land of NED?

Mike, I am glad you stopped in, I conked out last night before I could check in on your FB to see if you updated. I sure hope it's not too. We're all pulling for you, brother.

You all have a great day!

Feel better Mike!

ChuckT, Maple Grove I guess would be my home track. It's the closest, about 45 minutes away, Cecil 1hr 15 min, Atco about 1.5 hours and same with Englishtown. Good tracks for the most part within 1.5 hours. If I extend it to 2.5 hours, probably anohter 3-4 tracks I could attend.

Good Morning to all !!! Been freezing in the am here but the days are great, going up to the high 70s.... Most the snow bird have move in making my breakfast joint jammed..... LOL {I sure can complain} Been stripping the car down for new paint, found one fender needs a lot of body work. Old damage on wheel well plus lower part of panel has a lot of rust. Found a new Goodmark one for less that $200.00 so its been shipped. Just saw a fiberglass truck lid for $150, so I been think about that. By the time I remove hinges and locking bracket should save 20 lbs. With all the weight saving I been doing up front 16 lbs{ removing all extra brackets and non needed metal from doghouse} and getting rear disk kit replacing drum brakes I should be able to add a second battery in trunk and still weight my fighting weight of 2570 (less 5 gallons on fuel and my fat a$$ of 195} All this for a bracket car LOL , well it gives me something to do as the local track is still going thru the legal battle with the county...

Mike , I'm so sorry to hear that news, prayers sent....

Camaroracer, That's one cool wagon , should be a real fun project ... When I saw that corvette on racing junk it came to me who Speedy was, a few years ago he had one of his Willys stolen from a trailer at the track. I asked a few people about the car but have not got a response as of yet.......

Chuck, Last weekend was not good for me at the track first round loss with -.001 while the other guy was .097 OUCH Buyback was a big waste too , rolled .010 in the box and went red again -.009 LOL Got home early only to have my whole neighborhood blocked off with a huge party , Great food and drink!!! Sunday I woke up to a text of Arizona's Good Guy Dwight Downing pasting. Very sad,, Praying

Well enough of news from the southwest.....

You guys Have a Great Day , remember live life to its fullness......

Mornin' all, over center day. Looks like today and tomorrow are our last days near the 60s for a bit.

I figured you were pretty smack dab in the middle of all those, 1258. I've been to MG and CC, but not any of the Joisey tracks.

J, sorry for the loss of your racing friend.

You all have a great day!
