Good morning everyone. Well looks like pea soup outside right now. Sent Mark off to the track about an hour ago. I had some year end work to finish for a client this morning so I will go out in a little while. Unless this fog lifts in a hurry, they will be getting a late start anyway, I propably won't even miss the 1st time run. I sure would like to stay home and watch a little football, but racing comes first. Mike & Chuck say a little cheer from me to the Steelers. Have a great day everyone.

Morning ya'll,going to do the Dr. thing today,for me and Mannie,I'm getting ready for my knee replacement next Monday,and got lots of appointments to keep,and Mannie has one today,trying to help him get over the stress that has been created by this school thing,some stuff from his bio.parents are coming to light,so we could really use your prayers,tough times,call for tougher people,and I did'nt realize I was so weak,till you see your kids have troubles,then you know............................... ......................

In the mist of all the other stuff,good news,the Steelers pulls it off,and gets to the Super Bowl,going to be a great game,to good teams and maybe one for the record books....................... ....................................

Just got back from my pre-op visit with my Dr.
Surgery is scheduled for 7:00 in the morning. More than likely i will stay the night in the hospital and come home Wednesday.
If you all don't mind, i could use your prayers.

Howdy all! Wanna know how cold it was here this morning? I walked out of the house, and this happened:



It was -2 without the wind. Bbrrrrr. Up to 18 now, might hit 40 tomorrow, woo hoo!

Steelers made me a little nervous there in the second half, but the Jets were in the championship game for a reason. I give Sanchez respect. I didn't think he was tough, but he took everything the Steelers gave him and kept him team driving. Should be a great Super Bowl with the Packers.

Mouse, Mannie, Mike, Rick, sure wish I could take some of that burden off of you all. Just know you're in our thoughts and prayers, and we're all pulling for the best for you.

Susie, I sure do remember Loren Toews. That's what is neat about this run - it reminds me of the '70s dynasty. 434 Olds/Paul is on RealOldsPower.com too, so yep, he is Olds powered.

Chuck, that is so cool that you remember Loren. Last time I saw him was about 10 years ago at a class reunion. He moved back to San Jose, Calif where we grew up and went into the insurance business. My brother-in-law sees him quite often.
Mike, I will definitely say a prayer for Mannie to help him overcome the stress that he is having about school. It's a terrible feeling to see you child suffering. Prayers for you also, to help you get through the next few weeks.

Mike I know how you feel about giving meds to kids. Maybe finding a specialist at a Children's Hopsital will help. It sure did help us with our youngest, and he has grown into a good man. I'll be praying for answers for you!

Good morning from my hospital bed. Surgery went ok, but my leg is a lot of pain. Luckily they have good drugs here. Not sure if I'll get to go home today or not. Just depends on if they can get my pain under control. I didn't sleep well last night, so I'm going to try and take a nap. Thank you guys for the prayers. Talk to y'all later.
