Tell Mannie I've heard the kids can't go past May 28th because they go back the first week in August. I think that's where we're at now to make up the days-I remember going on Sat a few times when we were in school Frown.

Good morning! More snow flying down from the sky! Just what we need. Everyone is has cabin fever including me!!

Happy belated anniversary to our Good Morning gang! Happy I found you guys!!

Been okay and doing what I need to do. Can't say it getting easier, but I am moving forward and taking one day at time. My big & little Angels are always with me! Our kids are doing good too. In fact, they're corrupting their Mommy! But I wouldn't have it any other way! We have great kids! I am truly blessed!

My Mom's appt was cancelled due to snow, imagine that. I take her Tuesday to the surgeon and make arrangements to have her gall bladder taken out. CT scan showed a "porcelin gall bladder" and needs to come out. She feels a little better and looks better too. However, the ER doc and I kinda got into it and let's just say I got my point across.

I hope everyone is doing well, and trying to reschudle my trip to Florida! Chuck beat me there!!

Guy, glad to see you on FB. Now, the rest have to join too!!

Happy Valentines Day! Sending lots of hugs and kisses!

Wishing everyone peace!

Dear God, please bless my DRR family and keep them all safe and comfort each and everyone!

Forever "53'

Always and forever "Thinking of Nikki"...

I got another lesson in "aging" today! Got up early so grandaughter and I could get her dog Monster down the "Snip & Cut" mobile unit to get her spayed. Been so long since I had anything to do with sex that I wasn't sure how to read the signs of "heat" in a dog and I knew that she was in heat a week or so ago but figured she was out now but no so they refused to do it now! Guess we'll have to wait a month and take her back as it more economical than going to a vet by a long shot! Guess I need to go back to school and take some "sex ed" classes and while I am there think I will try to enroll in "human anatomy by braille" just to make sure my eyesight and fingers are working properly! Failed to call Floyd, aka "sex expert" ( or was that "maniac?) how to tell if a female dog is in heat but I am sure he will give me a lesson or two whether I want it or not! Mornin Y'all!
Going to be another "chamber of commerce day" here in SoCal today. Perfect drag racing weather.
Sorry Guy, I can't help you out with anything with 4 legs. Now two legs, that's a different situation. I'm not as good as I once was but I'm as good once as I ever was. Wink
Yesterday was good at the track. My pals, the McClanahans, have all 3 cars going to rd 4 today, 2 in stock 1 in super stock. They are both hitting the tree good and having the fastest cars is an advantage. Comp eliminator hasn't been doing good. They had one wreck in qualifying, one in first rd, 2 in second round, 3 if you count a complete 360 spin just past the stripe. All the drivers are okay but a couple of the cars aren't coming back.
Happy Valentines Day to all my DRR lady friends!
Lots of xoxoxo's your way.

Happy Valentine Day to you all! This is cheaper than goin' out and buying cards and mailin' 'em! That would break me! Pre-celebrated it yesterday by helping my grandaughter paint her dog's home! Pretty house! Pink with grey trim and shingled roof! Looks pretty classy on the back patio! Now just waitin' for her to go outa heat so we can get her spayed! If I stick a themometer in that "heat hole" what temp does it need to be to make sure she is "outa heat"? Just curious! Confused Banging Head Cool

Wife's headed across town today to give her 78 year old aunt a perm! Guess I will set around and play with the dog and myself! Should be a real quiet day then! Maybe I can figure out where to go and get me something to eat later today or do some old genealogy studying! Talked to a friend last night in Mississippi last night that I haven't seen since 1974 and found out his wife passed away 6 years ago. He is now 76 and retired from IBM. Later, gater! Yeah, Mike, they did real good. I don't know what happened in the final, Ryan should have gotten that one. Burton did a great job all day long, so he deserved the win.

Guy, just don't be eaten cheetos, everybody will be able to see what you been doing. No No

Good Morning All,it's kinda cold here this morning, but what was funnier, was when I got up at 6:30am this morning, the weather channel,on my puter, said 8degrees,and I'm thinking they never said anything about single digits over night, then at 7:30am it was 24,so I'm thinking the weather channel needles must be sticking in this cool damp air,lol.........................

It is funny how stuff like that affects ones mind about the day,I said to myself,Self, you ain't doing anything today, but stay warm, now that it is 24 degrees,I'm ready to get to it,whatever it is,when a heat wave hits, you can't sit by the stove, you got to get out and make hay, while the sun shines.......... Wink Big Grin................................................

Well ya'll have a gooden and Lord willing and the creek don't rise,we'll see ya'll in a bit,oh and prayers all around......................................

If you make more hay than you need, send it West to Texas. We are running out with all this snow and cold weather we been having.

We had 12" of wet snow here last week. More than we usually get in 10 years combined. Damn heavy stuff, weighed about 20 lbs a foot. I figured that there was about 55 tons bearing down on my shop roof. Worried about it too, but it held up.

Junk hay fetching up to $50 a roll, if you can find it. Good stuff is all gone but would bring $75 if there was any.

I got plenty myself. I am like a squirrel about hay. (OK, I'll beat y'all to it. I am like a squirrel about other things too. LOL)

You know BD,its funny about the hay deal here, late last fall people was giving away hay for you to cut it off the land, and I bought some decent hay for my little boys horse, for $10.a roll, and could of bought alot more, but knowed I did'nt need it,no matter how much snow we got,and now that the winter has been so rough, folks are running out,I like you have squirreled enough back, that I'm ok,so I do understand Squirreling........... Wink.................

A friend of mine just bought a barn full of good dry hay from this guy to resale, and went and payed him for it,and that evening the winds kicked up and basically blew this guys barn away, but my friend had it all sold and got it moved before the last snow storm blew through,I think they were like 250 rolls,so sometimes bad luck leads to someone elses good luck,I'm just saying...................................

BB,I know we don't have the snow ya'll guys have,but I'm with you,no more plowing,PLEASE.............

And BB,just wanted to tell ya,about a PB Blaster moment,I had the other day.
I had this old trailer, that I was scraping, and it had a pair,of old 72 chevelle wheels on it,and the lugs were so rusty, that I thought I was going to have to cut them off with the torch, and mess up the wheels,so I sprayed PB Blaster on them dudes, let them sit for a few minutes, and I be danged here they come, and the reason I know it works so good, was I had tried to move them with the air wrench, first,so I know this stuff works, don't mind spending for a product that works, just thought,I would pass it along, see ya..............................
