Been there, done that! Gotta do my mornin' ritual and then head off to new doctor to see if he can patch up my nose so it will quite filling up with a scab (inside) or tie up my little finger to keep me from picking it out so I can breath and then it's off to my primary care doctor for a bone scan to see if osteoporosis is still a factor or not! Don't want to be falling and breaking a hip! That's the reason I stay in Arizona, no ice to slip on!

Well hit a little dip in the road late last night as we was apporching Nashville,Tenn.had a flat on the little pup,travel trailer,and then discovered Rick was in there,I said why don't you ride up front with all of us,and he said it's to noisey up there,I'm fine right back here,so we(MsFurr and I)put the three kids and the dog back there with him,heheheh,but we are back on the road once more.
The Minnie Ship is doing fine so far,we're nearly into Memphis,man Tenn. is one long state,we just had to wave at Scott and Nicole and the kids,as we passed by Nashville,got to keep on time,need to make Mouses house by night fall,well this is the minnie-winnie ship,sailing to Floyds house for christmas,we'll have futher updates as our journey continues,and the poot-less beans,well can I say did't work out all that well,it sounded like a war in the back last night,but I fired right back,can't be out done when your the Captain of the ship.......... ................

I tried to get them to stop Nicole, you know men when they are driving somewhere...won't stop for nothing! Just about as difficult as getting a turn with the pc between Mike and the kids!! Glad Hot Legs is in tow, I know he absolutely had a blast with the 3 kids today Lil Man's not feeling well, 103 fever but a quick trip to urgent care & 6 rx's later he should be fine in about 24 hrs, upper resp infec...don't you love the Doc who says, well it's Christmas I'm going to go ahead & give you rx's for the family so you don't have to come back (my throat is already starting to hurt too)

I took some pics of the tree Chuck, wish you could see it in person though-full of toys, sounds, complete with the big train underneath...cool stuff! I'll get them up or email to you...

Sorry big banger Sally, but I say what I mean and mean what I say! The doctor put it in his own terms: "It is a long way up there and won't heal without an antibiotic ointment and can't be antognized digitally!" Now, what he really said was that he was gonna give me a presecription for some ointment to be put on a cotton swab and kept in that nostril 24 hours, seven days a week and to keep by "pinky" finger outa there by blocking it off with a cotton swab! And to put everyone's mind at ease (at least the one's that appreciate me) I am not going down I-10 toward Tucson until tomorrow morning and there shouldn't be any blowing dust then! I know ways to by-pass it if necessary.
Really sad that 14 year old boy and his 17 year old sister from Casa Grande were killed in the accident as well as a young man from Iowa City, IA who was hit in the rear by a semi driven by his dad! Several cars caught on fire and left a big pile on I-10 about 30 miles south of where we will get on I-10. They hope to have I-10 opened back open by midnight tonight! We are headed to Tucson, pick up some Lucky Wishbone Chicken and then on to my brother's place near Benson, AZ to eat and if it ain't too wet, we are gonna go to Tombstone, Gleeson (where my jail is located), Courtland, Pearce and then on into Willcox, AZ where wife's sister lives. We will be stayin' in the Day's Inn in Willcox for a couple of night before headin' back to Tempe on Christmas day! Gonna be a very cool trip with high expected in the 50's! To us native's that's the same as freezin' (32 degrees)! Sally, glad you stopped by and hope the door whops you a good one on the way out! Mike, get ready for some eastbound wind as you head west as it went through here today headed east! We'll warm things up before you get here though!

Reporting live from the mother ship Minnie-Winnie,well we passed Mouses house sometime during the night,they were either in bed or hiding from us, to late to stop anyway,the trip is going fine,we hope to make Amiralo(SP)by morning hope to see Floyd on Christmas day,so onward we travel,with loads of smiles and a happy wave as we pass traveling families going to their families homes for the Holidays,and ofcourse the kids are pumping their arms trying to get the truckers to blow their horns,it's working,cause when they blow,I jump,could be the caffine,naw,the little red things in the corner of my eye's are hanging on my cheeks,so when the kids get to loud all I got to do is look atem and they hush,they think I'm getting ready to blow,everything does have a silver lining...............

My last work day this week too. I think I should be on tomorrow, but just in case, safe travels to everyone wherever they're heading. I hope little man Furr feels better. You all are a fine bunch of folks, and I am sure glad to see you every morning. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas.

I love my city. Here's a couple of shots of part to the reasons why. Down in the PPG plaza, an ice rink gets set up for the winter. These are my brother's 4 kids a couple days after Thanksgiving this year:



The PPG Wintergarden also displays gingerbread houses that various schools had entered in its contest, mixed in with a tree and train display. There's a lot of really creative ones.

I like the trolley, plus the tri five Chevy wagons next to the tracks.

I guess I better have that butcher get me a whole prime rib instead of the 3 rib I normally get. Looks like I'm goin to have a whole lot of company for Christmas dinner. I hope my neighbors don't mind when my friends do burnouts with the old race truck out front of the house. Maybe I better put the old slicks on. They're a little harder and should smoke more.
I better lay in a whole mess of them whop biscuits, too. Gotta watch old Mike's diet.

I almost forgot about this one. I took this last year. This is a duplicate, the only one, of the nativity scene at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. It's something to see. The snow we got this week added to it.

Rick said 2 eggs & rack 'em Myrtle, is the only way to go on the MinnieShip!! I see Amarilo on the horizon...hope we have time to see Guy's rocks...my tastebuds are set for that prime rib Floyd! (finally talked the Capt into letting me steer while he gets rid of those little red things in his eyes )
