.............Floyd the way I make dem cathead biscuits is a little different from others,I mix up my flour and milk and butter and a little lard(cisco)and stir it up then throw some mo flour in there to make it a little more mangable, and thenI get me a big lump of dough and squezze it out of my hand a big old cathead biscuit, when it hits the baking pan it looks a little rough on top,so thats where the cathead name come from, thats what my Granny Combs and Hawks told me when I was only a little bicuit maker,so I believe it to be true, atleast in our neck of the woods.......................... Thought I'd get on. Joe and I just got home about 20 minutes ago from spending the day with Mom (Christine) and Mark. Joe and I were there last night until around 11pm. They had a nice dinner with friends while Joe and I stayed to hook up Mark's Wii. When they got home we played. Today I cooked burgers and steaks while all the boys were there, Mark's brother and his wife. We watched the Steelers game and then the boys and Mark played Wii. Although Christine did box some.

Surgery day is approaching fast and they are getting things accomplished at the house before going to the hospital.

Everyone have a good evening. I have a lab report to write for o. chem. Good night...SONYA.

Floyd, it's cause they hit their cat's over the head with a broomstick when they try and eat the pies coolin' in the kitchen window! The head is all "knotty" because of the stick whops and the furr sticks up cause they are always running in the briar patch! Out here we are used to a "slick" haired cat as they just lay around the house and lick themselves cause all the pies are factory made and never set in the windows to cool! We just go Walmart and pick one up and cat doesn't even know it! I remember those good ole days! Tongue Wink Banging Head Hum Cool

Morning everybody.
We are in the new house. Everything went as about as well as could be expected. The last 3 days have been busy for me and my wife, as one would expect. Everything is out of the old house, i just have a few things left in the garage, the storage shed, and my '72 Chevy pickup left to bring over here. As soon as i can, i'm going to take some more pictures and post some of them up here.
Y'all have a good one.
See ya.

Good to hear Mouse! Let use know when the "house warmin'" is so I can bring my gopher matches over light all the kindlin', in the fireplace of cource, not in the eves of the roof! Glad you gotta place you can call "home" for several years to come! If ever I get back to OK again I will have to make it a point to get in touch with you and come up and see your mansion! Wish some money would fall outa the sky and next spring I could just hook up and head back that way with trailer and car in tow and just stop and race when I felt like it! But boy, the heavens would really have to open up big cause I would have to fly the wife as she won't even go across town with me when I am pullin' my trailer! Some women never learn I reckon! You all have a good "short" week and Happy Thanksgiving! Rumor has it that one of my friends wrecked his car in a burn-out show at the Good Guys event in Scottsdale this weekend but being that type of event, the media don't touch it with a 10 foot pole! Hope he's okay! Eyes Praying Hum Cool

Mornin' all! Good weekend, with exception of the Steelers loss yesterday. If that's my only complaint, you can bet life is good. Saturday was our index race to close the season, and it was a lot of fun. Got to see Karen, Ashley, and Bob after that, out for Karen's 40th birthday. They were having a lot of fun, always good to see.

Mouse, glad to hear all went well with the move. I hope you have much happiness there.

Glad to see you stopping back in Marty. Send me a little jerky if you get that buck, please. Or freeze me up some deer kielbasa (or do they only do that in Pittsburgh?) and drag Hawks with you to the WFC IV and we'll cook it up.

Great news about your buddy, Floyd.

Hey Mike!!! I was thinking about you yesterday, and your dad. Real nice prayer there this morning, my friend, got good tears in my eyes. I think about that word, unconditional, a lot. And how what Bob and Karen and Mark and Christine are going through, and how it makes me appreciate what my parents did, and still do, for me.

Sonya, I keep meaning to drop a line. Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a good one. Good luck with the lab report.

Christine, you all are in my thoughts and prayers, praying often for you this week. I'll be at my parents most of the day Thurs-Sat, about 10-15 minutes from the hospital. Call/text if you need anything at all.
