NHRA will welcome you as long as you play by their rules and pay the entry fee.

You don't even need to be vaccinated or wear a mask.....just a helmet and a fire suit....

The way it should ben, and the way that it is. Except in keyboard hero land.

Simply not true. If you’ve ran a late model door car you would know what I mean. I have enough fast data to choke a horse! Larry is correct. Dragsters are very dirty in the air. Just look at TF/FC q speeds.

Ed picks his races so he doesn't look stupid. He can't compete with the big boys.

Eddie is a baiter, if everyone ignores him and DOESN'T respond to his posts he will eventually go away. I can assure you I won't be baited by Eddie. Talk among ourselves and no more responses to Eddie's posts. Eddie loves to get people's shorts in a bunch. Don't let him.

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

Larry, I really like getting in his head. It's so easy to get that inflated ego started. Easy to pull his chain.
Do you remember that VW altered we ran? I'm sure you saw it.

I can also run a GRID or stick with my points ignition setup. Lol

You know, I see Grid issues in the tech section quite often. I can't remember the last time I saw a points ignition problem. Wink Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Not real impressed. Kunkel is currently 19 in points and has no real shot at the division championship, some guy named Stinnett stands in his and everyone else's way. Also watched him run at Indy, paired against nobody until he lost to the fastest guy on the property round 3. That said, this is a drivers class not a dialers class. We got a few 120-130 mph dragsters, an occasional altered and door car in D1 and for the most part they are just burning gas and in the way.

don't just talk about it ed............get out of the way.

Old men getting hard, something they haven’t done in years over a door car running S/C because they hate dragsters which are without question the best tool! Funny but pathetic.

Don’t recall anyone including me that said they hate dragsters. Not the case. I’ve ( and others) had great success in dragsters and we are having a blast in a Bad a s s door car.

James Paul won a couple of div 4 championships and multiple national events in s/c with a Mopar powered alterd and anyone in this part of the country who knows James Paul also knows there was no luck involved in it.

I don't hate dragsters. But I do admire a door car that can hold with them. With the horsepower available today over the counter a lot of ingenuity and skill has been taken away. Might as well put Tesla controls in it and drive from the starting line.
People complain about cookie cutter pro stock cars, Nascar and they race cookie cutter dragsters.

Well by golly, let me be the first then. I hate those lawn darts. They have no soul. I always root for the non-engine-on-a-stick in any pairing. Take care. Tom Worthington

I run Super Comp in a 180+ mph long skinny car like almost everyone else, but I see no reason that something else couldn’t compete if it had the right equipment and a good pilot.

I do run mechanical injection with a linkage stop, and run Super Street with a 3600 lb 9” radial tire car. So I like unconventional setups.
