"what difference does it make?"

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump says he is open to a “softening” in laws dealing with people who are in the country illegally, offering a pivot away from the hardline immigration views he espoused throughout the primaries.

Trump made the remarks during a taping Tuesday afternoon of a town hall in Austin with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“Is there any part of the law that you might be able to change that would accommodate those people that contribute to society, have been law-abiding, have kids here?” Hannity asked. “Would there be any rule in your mind?”

“There certainly can be a softening because we’re not looking to hurt people,” Trump said in his response. “We want people — we have some great people in this country.”

Unlike you, I wasn't a fool for believing this democrat in sheep's clothing!

Trump isn't flip-flopping. He's always been soft on immigration. He supports the DREAM Act and wants a backdoor amnesty for any non-criminals they deport. People just didn't bother to listen to anything past "I'll build a wall".

The "suckered boobs" fell for that LIE TOO!!!!!

Millions of "Republicans" nominated a candidate that supports:

- Universal Healthcare, paid for by "the government" (aka taxpayers)
- a tax plan that creates an additional $10 Trillion in debt over 10 years
- tariffs and protectionism which start trade wars and raise cost of living on all Americans, the kind of policy that helped usher in the Great Depression
- government power over private business
- unconstitutional executive actions
- unconstitutional NSA spying
- government theft of private property via eminent domain to benefit private business
- crony corporatism/buying government influence
- bank bailouts
- Obama's stimulus
- a promise to spend DOUBLE Clinton's stimulus plan
- The DREAM Act
- "Touch and return" amnesty: expediting bringing illegals back into the country after deportation and magically calling them "legal", ahead of people that have been going through the legal immigration process.
- violating the 5th Amendment in order to deny citizens their 2nd Amendment right.

That's pure insanity. If you really support these policies, then by all means, enjoy, but you can't call yourself a "Republican".

How do you get Republicans to vote for a Democrat? Put an (R) behind his name. If Clinton wins the election the blame will lay squarely on the shoulders of the morons who nominated yet another unelectable big government progressives -- the only person you can find with an even higher unfavorable rating than Clinton. Clinton is the worst, most easy-to-defeat candidate the Democrats have ever propped up, someone who should already have been indicted, convicted, and thrown in jail, but no, Republicans chose to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. You people didn't bother to do your research and find out who he really is. Trump has already sold out to the Republican establishment (which is no surprise, as he has donated to the worst Republicans as well as Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Clinton herself over the years), and is already backtracking on immigration, the primary issue that launched his popularity (despite it not being backtracking at all, because he's always supported the DREAM Act and expedited touch and return amnesty). Any other candidate would have been trouncing Clinton. If you nominated Trump, this is on YOU.

It's funny, Republicans joyfully marched to the polls to vote for John McCain, and then four years later lamented what a big government progressive RINO he is. They did it again for Mitt Romney, who agreed with Obama on a laundry list of policies, and now four years later they scream about how bad Romney is. Really? Instead of taking four years to wake up, why don't people bother to do their research BEFORE voting for one unelectable big government progressive liberal RINO after another?

There are no good candidates in this election.

With all his faults, Trump on his worst day is ten times better than Hillary on her best day.
At least there is a CHANCE Trump will appoint conservative Supreme Court justices and those justices will be on the bench for 30-40 years for better or worse. With Hillary we have a GUARANTEE of radical leftist judges she will appoint.
Is Trump electable? Not if he keeps putting both feet in his mouth. On the other hand, if a Democrat candidate were saying the same things, his supporters and the mainstream media would be saying something like "Isn't he charming? He's just adorably eccentric, just what we need."

No one is arguing that. Anyone is better than Hillary. With such an incredibly low bar, you'd think that maybe voters would've nominated someone, anyone, who didn't subscribe to a laundry list of liberal policies. You'd think Republicans would nominate a Republican. Republicans have become Democrats, and Democrats have become Socialists. If people were really concerned about Supreme Court justices, they wouldn't have nominated a big government progressive. People had over a year to do their research and think about the consequences of their vote, well before arriving at the typical "Yeah, but this is who we have to choose from now, so you have to vote against the other side who's even worse" ultimatum, same as they do every election cycle. Seriously, these are the best our country can come up with?

The main thing about Trump is this. He is not a career politician and that alone is worth my vote. He also has not made his fortune off the taxpayers, and that is worth my vote.

Irregardless of his faults, he is our only chance to best Hillary Clinton and that is wrth my vote.

You do gooders like Koski and Beard can just kiss my ass.
