I've been having "post regret" since I put that post on the other site. It was out of frustration from things I heard and saw throughout the weekend that did not involve the race directly. I then had it taken down, because at the end of the day Rick and Jeff's race went very well. The business end, you could ask them if you'd like, they may or may not give you full details. All I know, is that that Slick and Stewie got everything they worked so hard for those three days in the end. Having said all of that, I absolutely love Quaker City. This past weekend made me realise what a gem it is, and the potential is there for it to be truly great again. The layout is outstanding, and it's one of the few racetracks in the country that has a lot of nice scenery around it. The view from the tower is sweet, and I bet it's even better when the leaves turn. I'd love to see the track survive and prosper no matter who owns it or runs it. I just worry that Dan will get tired of it all and sell it to a farmer or BFI and we'll lose a great, historic place to race. If I thought I would be listened to I'd offer any opinions, advice, and help to try to turn things around there. That's less likely to happen now that I've opened my big mouth elsewhere, I've probably joined the many others on the shyt list. For now, I'll keep my eyes and ears to the east and hope that someday, something positive happens to Quaker. Good luck to all

Track ran well today even with the Night of Fire finals. Does anyone know who the photographer is at the track. I don`t think he works with the track but I see him there most week ends

Boy I do hope so as well. Anyone that has raced week in and week out to win a class deserves to win the prizes promised. But, if the past is any indication of the present, I doubt they will get everything they have earned. They will get some of it, but not all. Especially with the rumors that the track will not open. One of the no box guys is supposed to get a gold card, and the box winner the same, correct??

Do you really think the wabbit and the skunk have the carrots to provide all that was promised?

What a shame...A once great racing facility ruined by someone that obviously does not know how to run a business, treat people (customers) with respect, keep their word, and can't keep his wabbit on a chain. This is what happens when you are in business but truely do not understand your customers.
