New starter shack and some bleacher sections. The weather being what it was this winter has pushed that all back, so there are some piles of materials in a couple spots.

| PRP has done the swap meet before, not for a couple years now, but it started at the same time as test n tune. So attention got split. That said, I still think those went pretty good. I laid stuff out and sold some. This is the first time it's being held well in advance of the race day start. The cool thing is, no spectator fee until 9am. I'll see if there are any numbers yet, for vendor spaces, etc.

Jim, we have a blast at all the races at PRP. However, if I had to choose which are most fun from a racer standpoint, I would have to go with any of them that are multi-day. I would really consider our holiday weekends, the Memorial day races should be AWESOME, and the payout is really good. 4 days of racing and never have to get into the tow vehicle once you arrive. Also, the Ghosts, Goblins and Gearheads race is ALWAYS a good time, late season winding up the year with cookouts, bonfires, halloween stuff and of course 3 days of GREAT racing. I hope you make it out this year. I'm sure I'll see you in the lanes!!

| Mark got 'em all. The GGG race is my personal favorite, just a really good time. For all of the races listed, single day entries are available also.

| Hey Ford owners, rumor is that QCR has announced that all Ford Race Car owners will get into the track for half the admission price. The staff at QCR announced today (4-1-2010) that this policy will be in place during the season. The reason behind this announcement is that Ford owners (like Yuk) only last half as long during competition rounds as their counterparts that drive Dodge or Chevys. The staff feels that since it is unlikely that any ford will finish in the finals, they felt it would go a long way toward helping out the racer if they would just reduce the cost at the gate. This reduction in gate fees should help the owners of such cars to buy the assortment of spare parts needed by ford owners versus their counterparts. Someone mentioned that the ford owners might be able to cash in on the round money, but the general consensus is that most fords do not make it past the first round and other than Friday nights, that pays nothing. The staff wanted to show their appreciation to the ford guys for virtually eliminating cleanups at the track after the first or second round and only Dodge and Chevy guys are left. HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY EVERYONE. Racing is right around the corner.
