Hey Evan, everything looks good. According to Accuweather, no rain before 6pm, so should be a good day of racing. Get in the gamblers race so I can show off that I can correctly pronounce your last name. Big Grin

Also, on the main PRP page:
http://www.pittsburghracewaypark.com/index.php

.. down towards the bottom, in the middle, you'll see a link to sign up for text/email alert service. It's awesome, text goes out to update when the track is rained out, or if the weather looks iffy, that it's open. Look for this pic below for the sign up link:

It was nice being back at the track again. Im glad they got some runs in to get some rubber on the track. Track improvements looked good and will be even better once they are finished and grass grows. Felt like a different race track. I should have my car out next time.

It sure was nice to be back out there, even if we were fence leaners. All the improvements look great, and the entire PRP crew deserves thanks for all of their hard work, especially in cleaning the track, dragging it, and prepping it.

Congratulations to Mike Volkman from Moon Twp on his win in Super Stock at Charlotte today. It was his first national event win in his first national event final round.

Back in 2002 Michael Tedesco was considering getting a license to sell beer at PRP. Then we went to a Monday Night Game at Heinz Field. Some drunken pinhead got rowdy and security told him he had to leave. He wanted to start a fight so security backed off. Then the Pittsburgh Police moved in. Mr. Drunk decided to take a swing at a cop. After the cops got some stick time on this moron and they dragged him out of the place Michael decided selling beer might cause more problems than the profit would be worth. Bet you will hear at least a couple bad incidents happening at Kennywood this year. And you do realize that Kennywood will be held liable if somebody gets drunk at their park and causes a wreck while driving home.

Stewie, if I hear of anything, I'll let you know. You heading to MG this weekend? I wish I was, but I know I won't be ready.

Keith, Ed just remains hard headed. Must be a Ford thing. Big Grin

Big time congrats to Michael Volkman! He was ready in the final, .010 on the tree, and made sure he stayed over when Santangelo had issues.

The weather for this Saturday is looking a little iffy, so I already traded emails with Jamie Tedesco. The extended tnt hours will move to the 28th if the 21st gets hit with rain.
