It was the old hood pin trick I'm stupid

I didn't put them in while warming the car up and the hood shot straight up in the air and then right into the windshield. My stupidity!

Here's another in car camera video from the dragster. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W_UFz-TMZE this one has sound and was 7.85 @ 173 and we are still not wide open. represented PRP well and picked up the win in top yesterday as well as winning the shootout.

great job guys on a job well done at beaver yesterday.

i think we are just about ready for our first race this year.
got to make 4 good passes this weekend. ( 2 were throw away runs)
first one ryan rolled in deep and ran a 7.921
next 2 were 7.916 and a 7.917. then the first run on sunday was a 7.919.
so i think the car is set on kill now Big Grin

Awesome job to Jason, first elimination passes in the car and takes the win!!!

Thanks AJ, it wasn't a weekend to remember. I fought the car all weekend, EVERY day there was another issue...Friday-Broken #4 spark plug (my fault I think I dropped it when installing them and didn't inspect it closely enough) Saturday- really bad tranny leak, the steel line cracked at the fitting on the tranny...Sunday, broke 2 wheel studs, missed top 2nd round made 3rd round Mod only to find another one was had fractured and we didn't catch it. So I have 4 studs now, ordering all 10 rear studs now, just hate fighting with the car...oh well, all in all not a bad weekend.
