For those keeping count at home that makes 7 that have said put the sensor in the pan where it belongs.

This isn't uncommon to try either, temp sensors in both line (or cooler) and trans pan at the same time.



I use similar fittings and have temp and pressure sensors.







I would think for bracket racing a sensor in the pan, won't tell you much about your transmission, but will reflect on the efficiency of your cooler......which would lend itself to consistency.
