Another one for in the pan... Don't make it harder then it needs to be. Seems thats the trend these days

For those keeping count at home that makes 7 that have said put the sensor in the pan where it belongs.

I use similar fittings and have temp and pressure sensors.
I would think for bracket racing a sensor in the pan, won't tell you much about your transmission, but will reflect on the efficiency of your cooler......which would lend itself to consistency.
