Ed,

I hear ya, but brackets, Pro Stock or whatever, weight matter and will impact the performance on track. 40 lbs is enough to move the needle! I am not doubting your words,, I am just saying if you do an A B A on the same day and you see nothing, something is holding the car back. I told you when I bolt in my NOS bottle (24 lbs plus the weight of the mount, say 28 lbs) I see a corresponding MPH and ET change, every time. Your combo and mine are very similar. On average I see close to .01 loss in 60' and about .025 in ET and 1+ MPH in the 1/4. These are all same day results.

Just saying.

Al, I’ve done all the testing I’m going to do, I KNOW without question, this swap was worth NOTHING on the time slip. Nothing holding it back, just not enough of a weight loss in my car to make any difference with 1300HP accelerating it.

Just an FYI, I just spoke to Heather Christian, her father was Tony Christian, famed NMCA Pro Street racer. She handles all Drag Racing battery applications for Braille.

I had a few questions and got an education about why and how Braille Lithium batteries are different than the competition and why they will not overload resulting in fire.

For those considering making the move to Lithium, I highly suggest you talk to Heather to get educated about Lithium batteries for our cars as well how Braille's Lithium batteries are different than the competition.
