Waco Bill is a crook!! Took me all of 5 minutes to figure that out when I talked to him several years ago

Nobody with a Featherlite trailer, would trade for an Intech trailer.

It doesn't make Intech junk, as you say the Op's trailer is. Or does it? Confused

1. Gold Rush

2. Featherlite

Here's the abbreviated story of the trailer deal. I was trying to be positive about the mess & it was a total shyt show from the get go. I called Sat. 04/10/2021 found out out the trailer had the awning. They had the trailer on property for about 3 weeks & never said a thing about the awning. I don't think they were even going to tell me about until today when I was supposed to arrive to pick it up. Anyway, I told her the $400 deduction for the matching spare wasn't going to cut it for compensation. Said I would call her back on Mon. 04/12/2021.

I took the rest of Sat, & Sun. to decided on my line in the sand on this deal. Plain & simple I wasn't going to pay more than half the cost of their so called great deal at cost awning ($1450).

Mon. I called Belinda & got straight to the point that they needed to come down on the price of the awning. That's when her attitude kicked in about them giving me such a great deal on the awning & making it sound like they were doing me a favor. I told her there was no deal on the trailer. She stated I would be getting my deposit back & that's where it ended. There was some other filler verbiage in Mondays conversation. LOL!

Phil's trailer didn't think I would back out of the deal (Belinda knew the 30 year flatbed story). I was never worried about the deposit. There was some specific changes to the trailer on the sales invoice that wasn't accomplished, along with the added awning that wasn't on the invoice. As for getting bent over, didn't happen, but they were trying.

Where do I go from here. I've been getting my Shyt Box to the track all over this great country on a flatbed for 30 years. Even did about 4 years before that with driving it to the track with slicks/open headers. The thing about it, it still consistently won all them years. What's more time hauling the old fashion way going hurt me, it's not! I'm going to start looking for a used enclosed trailer again. If I don't find what I want, I'll order another new one.

For now, the focus is going on getting the 80 Camaro completed & racing the 68 Camaro this year. I've had a good start this year with 4 races in the books & 3 of them in the money.

Curly & Bucky if there's any other info you would like about the trailer no-deal. Feel free to PM.

I wish you well and respect your decision what ever it is with YOUR money!

Really only you can decide if it was what you were wanting and if it was worth it to you in your budget. What ever decision you made is the right one for you and does not matter what others say.

I did feel I should warn you that others have had problems with them but I still hoped it worked out well for you.

As for me I want a bathroom package trailer but for now my focus is on building my house and shop and then if I have money left over to pay cash for trailer I will. but at my age I refuse to borrow money for anything. If I can not pay cash for it I do not need it. Even with my house. I am paying cash for it and not borrowing anything.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

First he bought from a dealer that doesn’t have a good reputation.

Second he bought a haulmark which is not a very well built trailer, absent of craftsmanship and quality control.

He has no leverage and ain’t backing out of the deal for fear he won’t get his deposit back and he’ll have to wait a year to have another built and it will cost more.

How’s that saving a few thousand choosing to buy this trailer over a vintage feel now? Laughing very hard

the shyt show ain't over, until you get/if your deposit back.

That's what happens when you buy a poorly built trailer from the cheapest guy who's name you first saw on "Street Outlaws".

I love how this deal went for you. A year in the making and you've got nothing. clapping Spitting

Your joyous celebration with mocking emoji and LOVING HOW THIS DEAL WENT for a fellow racer is classless and mean. I am sure we all have a deal gone bad story and piling on isn't cool.

Maybe they will talk if the trailer sits on their lot a while?

Either way, there are numerous winners circle cars that make their way to and from the track on open trailers every week in this Country!

Queeny has blown another butt plug & tampon. It's spewing shyt & blood clots onto the keyboard with assistance from its moobs.

Things have transpired, but not all the specific details shared. Wink

Their will be no talk between the parties. That was taken care on Mon.

As stated, my shyt has consistently won for 30+ years. Hauled on the old open flatbed.

BG,

He's a hater. He can't figure out how someone like me that's clueless, drives cut up no-name shyt boxes, hauls with an open trailer, & many other hater terms. Can consistently win races for 30+ years & still getting the racing done very well.

Unlike him, has all the best of everything, but he cannot park his butt in the seat & get the win. He was pretty easy to follow with his consistent 1st round finish's at his duck pond for many years. There's a reason he's riding the bench & riding on his Sons coat tails, because he sucks in the driver seat. Wink

Yes, I read that earlier. I was making the statement that the fun is in the racing and not the towing.

I routinely tow my car on both an open and an enclosed, depending on the situation, and I don't seem to do any better or worse with an enclosed versus an open.

I understand the trailer market may be good, but they went from having a trailer sold to a trailer in their inventory.

At my age I have started to see a trend (past few years) with my reaction times slowing as the day gets longer. I attribute that to racing in the wind/heat of Las Vegas during the day. When I was younger, it affected me, but not as much. I will not know until I get an enclosed.
