Hey Chuck,
He has pancreatitis. He's back at the vet now for IF all day. Probably tomorrow too.
They said it is very treatable.

Mornin' all! Beauty of a day on tap here, really wish I could play hooky. Super day yesterday as well, made sure I left work on time, and took a nice walk at the park near my house before watching the Pens win.

Floyd, that sucks. It's funny... I never really knew what pancreatitis was until a little over a year ago, when a friend was hospitalized with it, then I had it last fall, and my mom had a bout with it 2 months ago. IF did the trick for me, felt better in no time.

Phil, Nick had texted me that Sunday, way cool!!

You all have a great day!

JRED is a winner and I can't get out of the garage. Really sorry for Buddy, sick is hard on an old dog. I SAW my engines yesterday. 2 good ones and one basically junk. Looks like the Balancer never worked but still don't know. May have one by the end of the week and need it in to go to Elk Creek memorial day weekend. Had some good barbeque with Jeff Verdi (AKA: million dollar man) on the way home from VA and it was good to see him as usual. Grass is high so I got to go everyone have a good one

Congrats RED with your SST win.

Nothing much going on here, but need to hit the track soon. It's killing me.

Good Morning Guys , had a real good weekend...LOL
Thanks for all you kind words, it means a lot you me coming from all of you.
Wow had a real strange start to the evening , first hit took a hard left and almost took out the tree. Second hit got loose about 1000 feet out and almost tried the move the wall out. Then my friend (chassis master) did a little magic adjustment on rear shocks tighten extension (Donnie Toia you are the master) and bring my burnout a second longer and I was golden. By the time I was done and loaded was about 2;45 am drive back to town just in time for a 4:00am nap at Walmart parking lot and a 6:00 am breakfast of biscuit's gravy and bacon .... Hahaha Pulled into my driveway at 7:00am as the wife was just getting up. That was the best 17 hours ... Phew

Floyd , I sure hope Buddy is feeling better, sounds like your caring good care of him. I'm sure he is in a hurry to come home soon.

Chuck , Nothing better than spending holidays with family and friends... I think I have something for you but I have to way for one piece I robbed from this filter , as soon as I get it I'll send it your way. text me and address will you....

Fern , I know you will get out of the garage, no holding a workaholic like you back ! Dang a barbecue with Jeff sounded like a great time.

Camaroracer, Hard for me to believe nothing is going on with two young kids running the household. Fly me out and I'll babysit and you and the wife can go racing....haha

Phil, you did pretty good your self Saturday night, saw you take out several heavy hitters.

Everyone Have A Great Day !!!

Yep that's a root Beer Float!! Relaxing

Thanks Guys,

He is going to be in the hospital for a couple of days. They need to treat intavienusly not orally. Hopefully I can get him home for the weekend. It's going to get awfully lonely without him.The vet said this was the best treatment she could recommend. She said it was going to be expensive but he's my Buddy. He would do anything for me so I'll do anything for him.
I didn't want to go to Hawaii anyhow.

Sh1t! I hate that so bad. Get a copy of "The Rainbow Bridge". He will be waiting for you. My Jack was with me for 18 years through thick and thin and had a heart attack so it was real sudden and I was devastated to say the least. I had him creamated and will take him with me when I go. Its just so hard losing a friend like that. I shed a tear for you Floyd as we old folks just seem to keep losing everyone and everything around us. Empty houses suck. So sorry.

Thank you, Fern,
You're absolutely right. I keep losing best friends. My Dad, my Wife, Chewy and now Buddy.
It hurts like hell. A empty house sucks.
I know about the Rainbow Bridge. I'm hoping all my BEST FRIENDS are together, enjoying each other and saying bad things about me. I will be joining them and we will be a happy family together.

Mornin' all! Warm day yesterday, looking at the same today, might get a little wet too. KRP had a rescheduled test and tune last night, so I went up and got some hits, trying to get in a groove for tomorrow night.

Floyd, I'm so sorry about Buddy. You for sure gave him a great home, so glad for you both that you were good together. Hang in there, my friend.

Cheers to Buddy.

You all have a great day.

Keep your chin up Floyd---I have been down the same road and it never stops hurting. I might get an engine tomorrow. Supposed to be at Elk Creek Thur for the triple $10,000 race. Nothing like testing at a strange track with a new engine. If we get it in!

Good Morning Guy's.... weather been cool but the weekend is coming and so is the heat, Saturday 92 Sunday 99... I'll be staying home this weekend going a little spring cleaning. Its just amazing how stuff piles up , most of it you don't use or need but you save for no real reason. So this weekend I'm really going to try to lighten the load, the wife is a saver so I'll have to be sneaky about it...LOL

Fern , Wow racing a big buck race on a new motor, I have seen friends do it but it takes me little time to get everything right( like about 15 Hits Hahaha )Good luck you can make it happen...

Chuck, It must be so green there with all the rain you been getting, Good Luck at the track...

Floyd , Its ok to talk to Buddy I'm sure he is listening. My mom use to go out and get another dog when ever she lost one, I'm not sure that is right for everyone but it worked for her. Our little friends live on and on in our minds , why not talk to them. Keep busy and as Fern said "keep your head up"...

Camaroracer, Hey how are you , how about some pictures of the car? While your at it a couple of the kids would not hurt, I bet they are getting big, they must be a handful....

Have a Great day Everyone ....

Mornin' all! TGIF! Looks like any rain in the area will be early, and we should be good to race tonight. I'm hoping. 1 time trial session and go. Hoping to go some rounds.

Fern, I hope you get an engine today, and get it in. I wish I could make Elk Creek next week. Doesn't look like much traveling for me until the fall.

Floyd, I hope you're doing ok today. I feel for you.

Nick, I've been a saver, and now am trying to purge. Stuff for sure piles up! It sure is green here, after all the rain we've had, and now it's been dry most of this week, so everything is growing like crazy.

You all have a great weekend, whatever you're getting into. Ice cream/milkshake time!
Relaxing
