Mornin Y'all!
Chuck, I don't know if it helped or not. The swelling went down and they are getting better every day but I quit going cause something made my feet hurt after every visit. I'm using a cream on them twice a day and other than itching we are coming along fine. I'll be dancing again soon. Thanks for asking.
Y'all have a gooden. Praying Angel hug

Morning folks. Just another day in paradise. Getting little parts here and there for the car to get her finished.

This whole Gainesville thread is interesting. I just kind of laugh in general about how these sportsman racers ***** about how they will never run a National event again or support NHRA, yet they are back on the wagon.

Good time to lose passport----don't think they will hit down here since there is nothing but open space and cows Eyes
Mama took a turn for the worse a couple of days back and ended up in ICU. She is out of there and doing much better now....just another bump in the road. Had frost last night but that is supposed to be the last of it.....every one enjoy your day.

Mornin Y'all!
My boy loaned out our open trailer to a customer of his to haul a jeep to Moab, UT for some sort of off road function they got going there. The speed limit in Utah must be way up there so they are buying new tires and one wheel for the trailer. Said they were doing 80 when the second one let go. Didn't know when the first one went.

Good Evening Guys!!! Been lost for a while , so been catching up. Yesterday got up to 91 degrees out here in the desert, dang this was 15 over the average. I'll be melting away by June if this keeps up.

Fern , hoping the best for you and yours. sounds like your about due for a race...

Chuck, what's happening, you getting closer with the Olds ?

Camaroracer , how is that wagon coming along?

Floyd , That looks real nasty. Hope they made it back ok. I really hate losing a tire on my open trailer. Been there done that,,, not this bad but I've lost one, still no fun....

Well Everyone have a Great Hump Day , I'm going to try too.....

Morning folks. Weather is supposed to be near the 70s for the next few days.

Floyd it's a good thing it wasn't worse than that.

RED, wagon has not really gotten anywhere since my pops went back down to Florida. He is coming back next week and wants to get it finished and gone. I might see if my in-laws can look after the baby on Sunday for half a day so I can work on the car.

Mornin' all, and as our dear friend Guy would say, over center day. Today would be Guy's birthday too. I wish I could get some Los Dos as a toast to him. Maybe I'll get some Mexican food for dinner tonight in his honor.

Fern, sorry to hear, but glad she is doing better now.

Wow, Floyd, scary stuff. Glad they're ok. That makes me nervous, though too many hills over this way for me to tow that fast.

J, just reading 91 in March is making me sweat. I'd be in pre-melt. Big Grin

1258, I hope you get to make some progress.

You all have a good day. For our friend Guy, for Eric Medlen, who passed away this day in 2007, remember to take nothing for granted, especially the people in your life. And go get some ice cream with them.

Agreed. Need to just enjoy life too. You aren't on this planet just to work to make money, pay the bills, and work on the house. Go out and enjoy life. My wife worries about what am I doing that's going to be productive around the house. I don't have much time to do anything in my life.

At 26 years old my Dad told me "son you would be a millionaire by now if you didn't blow all your money having fun" I told him I didn't want to wait till I was 60 to try to do things that I would not be physically able to do at that age. So here I am 50 years later and did everything I wanted to, travelled all over the world, been racing over 50 years (talk about blowing money)went broke more than once. But I have enjoyed the one thing you can't buy and that is pretty good health as did Mama until last June when she had a stroke. Trust me THAT will make you realize what a good life you have had and how quick it can be gone + my friends are all at the race track Double Thumbs up

Mornin Y'all!
Went for my semi annual physical last Friday and was talking to the doctor about my blood test results. He said he wished his tests were as good. Choleterol 55-50, blood pressure good, sodium good, sugar good, everything peachy. I laughed and he said what's so funny. I said Doc, you say everything is good and you won't believe how badly I treat my body. I eat a lot of red meat, I drink a lot of good scotch and I smoke like a chimney. He said, "don't change anything".

Mornin' all! Nice looking spring day out there today, going to enjoy the sights at lunch Wink . Life is way too short to not take advantage of what it has to offer. I found out a woman I worked with in my old job passed away last week, just 62. My older brother does it up pretty good. Merchant mariner, been all over the world, goes for jobs that go to warm places, enjoys his time off in between them. Right now he's in AZ seeing our baby sister and watching spring training ball.

Floyd, that's awesome! Big Grin

You all have a great day!

Update on the trailer tires, they were dated '04. I swear I bought them 2 or 3 years ago. The tire shop in Utah said they were rotten so the boys put 4 new ones on. I guess they aren't very happy. I hope they can right it off as a business expense. The one guy owns a off roaders supply company in Australia and he came over for whatever offroad thing they got going in Utah. I hope he has a lot of dollars worth of fun. I ain't paying for the tires. When you borrow somebodys stuff you assume responsibility for it. I wouldn't of let them use it if I thought the tires were bad. That's a problem with having 2 trailers. You forget what you did when. I know I've had the gooseneck for 2 years now and have only used the open trailer a couple of times for some local stuff. I wanted to sell it but my boy said no, we need to keep it around. Oh well, he can keep it at his place. I don't need 2 trailers in my driveway.

Mornin' all! TGIF! Someone left the fridge door open overnight, dropped 25 degrees. Tomorrow looks real nice, and Sunday even better. Helping my buddy out tomorrow, and then getting my car to MattO's sometime Sunday. He is excellent with wiring, and he'll hook up the new electric pump and some other stuff that needs touched up, while I do the other maintenance.

J, it is, but he works for it... chased by pirates, boarded by other navies/military for inspections, lots to keep on top of. But yeah, the Travis McGee lifestyle suits him.

Floyd, I agree with you. Bummer, bad timing, whatever, but it's on them. I hope they have a good time out there. At PRI, a battery seminar I sat in on, told us what the trucks cost, versus the payout. Unreal on how small compared to the investment.

I hope you all have a good Easter, hope you're spending it with family and friends. Ice cream and/or jelly bean time. Smile
