It's cold and wet here. Snow wouldn't suprise me except it doesn't snow in So. Cal.
Don't look good for our final King of the Hill Summit race tomorrow. But the banquet will still go on.

Goooood Moorrrning gang, yea Pat a little cool here in the minnie-winnie this morning,it's only 22'long so not to hard to heat, but the pot seat was mighty cold this morning, can you say wake-up from the bottom up,woohoo Eyes......all you need is a cup of coffee and you're good to go.......................................

Long before I moved in the minnie-winnie,I used to say I could live in a cracker box and be happy, well low and behold I do now,and am as happy as if I had good sense....................

After me and wife decided to seperate, and wanted to stay close for Mannie, the little guy had been through enough in his life,so when the wife wanted to buy a house I sold her mine, that I owned on some of my land here in Cana,so I bought a fine RV Eyes Tongue and put in the middle of the junkyard,a place close to my heart and close to Mannie, who is my heart, and the rest is history, what I love about living in the mini-winnie,is if I get tried of the view,I just move it,cranker right up and move it to whereever the cord will reach, and ifn I decide to go down and live by the creek awhile,I just make a longer drop cord or crank the gennie up,oh life in the fast lane and never leave home, good life for me and Mannie...........lifes and adventure........................................

Now this kind of life ain't for everybody, but I kinda like it,ifn you get tried of the interior, just trade for another fine minnie-winnie,and ifn you get tried of the way you are looking at something outside, well just turn the minnie around,so life is good for me anyway,I like that song the Zack Brown has out,got my toes in the sand, life is good today............thats me...................................................................

Well enough about my fine life Smilehow's all ya'll lifes going, hope all is well and everybody is happy this morning, and ya'll have a gooden and we'll see ya'll afterwhile, from minnie-winnie central, this is Mike and Mannie signing off..............................Prayers all around...........................................

Hey Chuck, you did say talk on.............. Big Grin....................
Love ya MaB......................................

Mornin' all! You know, my Steelers haven't been right since my friend and coworker Paul passed. I'm thinking they have been mouring also, and more so when Mark passed. So we'll add the Steelers season into the rest of the crap from '09 that we'll wave goodbye to with 1 finger salutes.

Still way too cold too early. We went from mid 40s to mid 20s with a nasty wind chill. Mouse, I'm with you, first Friday I've been here for in a month.

Mike, you betcha, talk on!

Here is Mark's last pass:
Forever 53

Very early on, you hear Christine, that shy little church mouse, and Markie.

I don't think Christine shared this little story yet. The funeral procession was 69 cars, led by Markie driving the flatbed with Mark's '69 Mach I on it, and ended with a friend's '69 Mustang on a flatbed. Christine was riding with Joey and Sonya in Joey's '89 Mustang, and as they passed a Dairy Queen, Christine said she wanted ice cream. Joey's Mustang stumbled, coughed, hiccupped, and shut off... the 6AL box went out. It was Mark's way of saying "Go get some then!" The ice cream had to wait, as Christine, Sonya, and Joey had to do a Chinese fire drill to hop into another car, but she'll have plenty of invites from us!

Daughter's husband and son are home after being stuck in the blizzard at south rim of the Grand Canyon which hit last Sunday1 They were stranded in 5 foot of snow beside a dirt road with single wheel 1-ton with 5th wheel toy hauler so they had pretty much all the comforts of home. They had enough propane with them to hole up for a week. Friends of their's were camped in trailers and a pop-up at the same site but daughter's husband had to dig his way to their trailers as none of them would take the initiative to do much! Daughter was able to text message them so they did have a line of communications! She contacted the Coconino County Sheriff's Department and told them exactly where her husband Joe and son Joe were located. They asked her how she new the Forest Service Road numbers and she told them she left the site on Sunday in her 1-ton Ford dually before the full force blizzard hit. In fact, her directions were so good that a rescue helicopter was able to land in an opening not much bigger than the chopper blades to see if they had food and water. At midnight on Wednesday night the Rescue Officials showed up with a "snowcat" and hauled them to the town of Tusayan, some 15 miles away on unpaved roads which took 3 hours as electrical malfunctions on the snow cat resulted in a loss of their headlights and the heater! All of the trucks were 4 wheel drive and they had them all out this morning except one and daughter gotta text that the other was now out. The roads are all closed and the trailers are still at the camp site and another storm was to move in tonight so they are not sure when they will be able to get their trailer out! They are scheduled to go to Wisconsin for Christmas on the 22nd and won't return until the 29th. The rescue officials up there are to notify them when the roads become passable where they can get in and get their trailers! But son-in-law and grandson and daughter are back home in Peoria tonight and in their nice warm beds. More chapters of this episode will be forthcoming as more information becomes available! Here'a a link to news article on the hunters and the blizzard that hit northern Arizona the week. My grandson and son-in-law were in the party of 10 who were hauled 15 miles (3 hour trip) in a snowcat. At first the snowcat operator was not going to let this group of hunters take their guns until son-in-law asked him: "Do you really think we are gonna use these guns on you? If so, you take my son to Tusayan and I have enough food and fuel to hold me until next weekend!" He then let all of them take their unloaded guns with them. Experience is a great teacher and I am sure all of them learned the value of having communications! Keep in mind that Coconino County is the second largest county in the U.S.
(18,000 square miles) and one of the least populated and is bigger than a lot of eastern states! Check out this link to an article in the Arizona Republic:

Good Morning gang, been thinkin about you all and sending Praying hug Glad to be home with my lil Man & Madi but had a blast at Pri. Will try to give you guys some highlights soon...I think I'm having jet lag today even tho we drove! lol

I will say Scott looks NOTHING like the 'older' guy I had pictured and neither do you Nicole!!! lol Finally got to talk to Scott at Crisco's 'blingin like a beacon to draw the crowd over' Cool Nitroplate booth as we were leaving, the DRR booth was empty or full of people waiting every time we made it by...I'm just saying.... Big Grin Rick had a talk with Scott about what he feels is a need for posts to be limited by both number and length~possibly gender (Uncle Mike & I discussed this on the way home last night) Rolling I forgot where your son was Floyd, so I missed him. Red Lobster (believe or not) was the place to be Thurs night, way cool when your server is louder and can give the guys more than they can handle lol and just ask Jason Lynch how much you can spend there in one night Eyes Hooters party was a blast on Fri night, George Howard/Roy Hill making announcements about upcoming racing action-(can't wait to read more about it) Rick was all over the Moser booth before he finally saw the new Jr rear yesterday...made his trip! Did I mention we had a lot of fun? Big Grin

Those were cool pics Chuck, congrats AJ!
Believe me Rick would be the last person to ever complain about the grammar part Mike, there are a lot of brilliant people in the world that can't spell just perfectly~my thinking is there should be a lot more important things in peoples own lives to critique than others' grammar/spelling Wink

Ma B, I miss you.
