Thanks Barry!

My time is running out & the older I get the less sharp I'm with racing.

I used to think in my younger days; I was better than most on my worst days, than my opponents on their best days. I never considered myself a hitter, but I had a way of winning rounds & even races I shouldn't have won.

Somewhere in the last few years I find myself struggling & making more mistakes; like forgetting to put in the expansion plug in the water/methanol tank. It totally changed the cars 60' & the leave/reaction/mph. Then I start doubting myself & chasing my tail.

I'm still enjoying myself & still think I'm somewhat competitive. I'm going thru some changes in my later years & just have to find a way of dealing with it better.

2BKING sharing the real truth! Wink

I received my Spring Fling Million 1K check in the mail today. Too bad it was short 449K! Frown

I thought the memo was funny, "Round 4 R/U". I guess for a 2K Million entry fee, "Round 4 R/U" isn't that bad. Wink

Winning 3rd rd in any large money race is a true accomplishment imho. Many don’t make it that far. Yes, Fling is very prompt on sending payments. Congrats!!

Looking forward to doing some 6.0 Index racing on a .500 Pro Tree. The rules stipulate no throttle stops or delay boxes, air/electric shifters permitted. I'm looking forward to this type racing & wish there was more of this out West.

The plan is to race at 2 Northern NV. tracks I've never been to. Going to hit Top Gun Raceway, Fallon NV. for Fri. T&T/Gambler race & spend the night.

Sat. morning drive to Good Times Dragstrip, Winnemucca NV. about a 2-hour drive to race the 6.0 Index & spend the night.

Sun. morning drive back to Top Gun for some NHRA bracket racing.

Should be a good time, but busy!

If my memory serves me correctly, my NA combo the best light I could get was about a .460 light. I haven't tried it with my ProCharged combo.

What's the verdict, Brian?
I have the Falcon in the body shop for some rust repair and a general spiffy up but no paint job. I'll have to win the lottery first. Hmmm, better buy some tickets.....

I'm not in a bad mood, I just look that way.........

Having to re-think racing in Northern NV this coming weekend, rain is forecasted for Sat. & Sun. Famoso is running the West Coast Classic this weekend & the weather forecast is good.

Anyway, looks like I'm leaning towards racing in CA this coming weekend. The payouts are better (3) 5k races for Pro & a shorter travel distance/time.

I'll wait till Wed. to pick my poison! Wink
