Leaving for the hub dyno early in the morning. Might have something to talk about when I get back. Yes, I know it's not racing but that's all I'm going to have for about a month.

Not much to talk about with the hub dyno session, it was a bust. I might post a little info or lack of in the Tech Section, under Hub Dyno.

I went to the NHRA division 7 ET Finals over the weekend at Firebird Motorsports park
I went out 2nd round of the low roller gambler and to the 3rd round of the Saturday team race where Vegas was 3rd place finisher behind Firebird and Tucson.
Sunday Summit Showdown I got to the semifinals finally losing to Dave Muller (former National Sportsman champ) in the 5th round and Dave lost to Mike Williams in the final.
The weather was hot for Thursday and Friday but nice for Saturday and Sunday.
Had a good time after missing several ET Finals in the last 10 years.

I'm not in a bad mood, I just look that way.........

We got some racing coming up this weekend. I don't understand it, but they're the last 2 points races. This is after they have already run the Div 7 bracket finals!

Anyway, we have a TnT on Fri., racing on Sat & Sun. I plan on leaning on the car to see if I can gain some ET & reaction times on Fri. This is in preparation for some quicker index classes I'm hoping to race. Big Grin

It's time for the rubber to meet the track again, no resting on my keyboard laurels here!

Anybody going to join me this weekend? Report up good or bad!

Well today was a cluster f... Started with waiting in line for an hour & half at the gate for credentials! It didn't get any better after that!

I was able to get two runs in. We picked up a tenth & little over 1 mph.

More details after the weekend.

Tomorrow is a points race. Hopefully it's not another cluster!

Not a bad day but had a 1st round exit with a red light. Frown

I went back to my bracket tune. I did try a different launch retard, the car didn't like it at all.

Tomorrow is another race & a new day!

More details to come next week. Hopefully I can remember all the changes.

The old Falcon did me well but I didn't dial it up enough when I decided to take it in 2 bumps on the starting line.
Still was a lot of fun and great racing weather!

Dan,

Good job in the finals & against a very tough competitor!

Thanks for contributing to the thread. I'm starting to wonder if any members race on the site. At least they stopped talking about politics. That was one the main reasons for starting the thread.

I raced CW in the 3rd or 4th round on Sun. We did our normal side bet of a dollar to the winner. Thanks for the dollar CW, I'll try not to spend it in one place.

Any room for complaining in here?

Saturday, Southern Bracket Racing finals.....I am all over tree.....Can pretty much call my RT. Car is 5.62 5.62 5.62, wind picks up and I am 1 to the good 4th. I dial the 63 go 0 on the tree again, pedal, drag brake, win light comes on in other lane. 5.627 on a 63......Took 23 needed to take 20 or less.

Gamblers races Thursday and Friday...Give it up .001 and .0002 so you KNOW I couldn't go the whole weekend without hogging one LOL.

Yes, complaining, whining, dumbass of the day, redlighting, crushing the light, good or bad days, wins or loses & anything else that involves racing.

I have posted both good, bad & probably most everything in between. Sometimes the thread gets a little derailed but not too bad & I'm sure I have contributed to it also.

Yep Mason. The old drive in movie theater was still across the road when I started racing there in the late 80s.
