| Again, It’s gamesmanship and if you don’t know how autostart works after about 15 years in use, my advice is stay home. |

If 3 bulbs are lit for 1 second then auto start begins regardless of if it goes back to 2 bulbs. If johnny had not got staged again in time then both drivers would have went red and been out.
If you are one dimensional and don't know the rules...... oh well
^^^ Exactly ^^^^ As far as I'm, concerned, the guy who thinks he's entitled to only stage last is the chicken **** and the guy who uses a better understanding of the system to exploit that and stick it up his azz is a hero!

| This tactic is absolutely trickery and manipulation of the timing system. If Johnny were really concerned with forcing the other racer to get in and stage, all he had to do is light both bulbs and stay in. Instead, he tricks his opponent into thinking he's not staged after starting the timer. Unless he knows his opponent, there's absolutely no way to know what is going through the other driver's mind. He may be thinking Johnny is having trouble and giving him an opportunity to get in, who knows. This tactic actually INCREASES the time it takes both racers to stage as he's up there flickering bulbs, etc. instead of getting in himself. That speed up the staging process is a BS statement. Absolutely, it's not illegal and he's operating within the rules, but winning at any cost doesn't make it right. There are two types of winners. Those with class and those without. It amazes me that a racer as good as Johnny is resorts to such poor "gamesmanship" in order to win a round. IMO that's not winning on his own merits.

| The driver on the right thought that Ezell was going in since his bulb was flickering. He was waiting for it to stay on before he went in. He was rolling when the lights came down. Johnny only left him a couple seconds to stage.

| He was obviously there to win and didn’t care what the Internet forum keyboard racers would say. |

| the last one in, starts the tree unless you don't know how autostart works as was the case with this guy that got timed out. |

nope and nope, I know him well and have never seen him have to stage last. I dont what race everyone else is watching but that wasn't very long of a "staging battle" to me... just a few seconds and the left lane pre staged first which usually means they want to stage first. If the right lane had double bulbed people would be crying about that too. Lol

Yep I seen that happen a couple times with the wheels getting turned back and forth this weekend
