So what if he did win the million? He'd just have more haters without the ability to think rationally, so what about it?

Believe it or not NOC about this thread, including the driver involved.

Everyone in this thread has lost their cool at one time or another, and done something stupid.

Hypocrites, what's new?

Statement of Action Against Participant
Hunter Patton’s license has been suspended until January 1, 2023 and until completion of anger management sessions, after an unacceptable on-track actions at South Georgia Motorsports Park, an NHRA member track. The action is appealable.

How does that affect third party races like this one, at NHRA tracks? Is an NHRA license required?

Thank you NHRA.

IHRA will say it wasn't an IHRA track or event, and stay out of it. Rightfully so, I would think.

How many big money or heck any bracket race even require a license? There is zero tech and plenty of people with no license or even pants racing. This will only effect him going to Divisional and National events for a year. You haters all happy now?

In the past, NHRA had suspended a driver, and he attempted to compete at one of our events at Virginia Motorsports Park. If he had been allowed to race, the track's sanctioning would have been in jeopardy.

In the Hunter Patton case, we didn't initially make a statement to suspend him because he doesn't race with us in the first place. That being said, I support NHRA's suspension, and will enforce it at Loose Rocker events. Additionally, anyone pulling this stunt at one of our events will be suspended indefinitely. This type of action has absolutely ZERO place in our sport, and will not be tolerated.

It was 100% on the promoter of this event to do something and he didnt so its done

WOW, I stand corrected. Guess he better find a job for a year if it is actually enforced at these big money bracket races

Yes, but no one is checking, again no rules. I know for a fact racers competing at these races that do not have a valid NHRA completion license.

I am by no means condoning what he did here but all you internet Nazi's and goody two shoe posters better watch what you wish for. You really want NHRA to stick their nose in this and start messing with local/big money bracket races?

I sure hope all you people have all your stuff up to date, licenses. pants, jackets, gloves, etc. Chassis certifications. And oh yeah, all you guys going quicker than 4.49 better have your -15 suit and neck restraint on or some internet nazi is going to publically hang you and get the track in trouble with NHRA if they don't enforce the rules.

We all agree what he did was wrong and the track should have handled it differently but they didn't. Do you really want big brother sticking their noses in here?

If that’s what it takes yes. The promoter and the track should have done something right after it happened. If you can afford all these entry fees you can afford to have your junk up to date. This crap crossed the line period. There’s no holier than thou crap. This is right and wrong. Maybe these big races should have emotional animals on the rerun road for idiots like this. So they can get a hug and get over losing.

I just read that Hunter has been suspended until 2023. It looks like NHRA is stepping up.

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.
