I'm not seeing where the other driver did ANYTHING wrong. Please explain. Surely he wasn't in the wrong by whacking the throttle a time or two after failing to fall for the wheel-flip trick during staging, which I consider cheating.

Fair question

It isn’t “wrong” per se, but some view whomps in the shutdown area to be unsportsmanlike.

Sort of like turning the wheel to blink the stage bulb with AutoStart.

One of those can impact the outcome of the round, the other does not.

This type of driving should open up a whole new market in bracket racing.

So, Gullitti is pandering to the politically correct crowd for support of his friends piss poor actions? Confused

That's a bad idea. People will forget all about this, as soon as Veruka takes 100% responsibility for her actions.

It's not unsportsmanlike to spike a football when you score a TD either.

If you're worried about em spiking the football in the end zone, don't let em score.

If they spike the ball in the end zone, you got nobody to blame but yourself.

Is it time to put "Mad Max" style bumpers and armour on my car?

Seriously, staggling games and any other head games that do not break a rule is open season. Intentional crossing of center line would be off limits and require a solid forcefull response.

Otherwise, rumors of double standards may have substance. The attraction of this style if competition is the timing system being unbiased and great equalizer.

I am probably not the only one looking at feedback like this before investing in an entry.

It's not that Veruka tried to flicker the tree, so Trey paid him back by spiking the ball in the end zone.

Trey spikes the ball in the end zone on everyone when he scores a TD.

There's NOTHING wrong about spiking the ball in the end zone.

Put it into words what's wrong about spiking the ball in the end zone, I gotta hear this.

When I came back to race 2017, I was stuck with Bradenton, Sunshine all but closed test n tune track. Anyway I had a Bradenton guy come up looking for an alley because Trey was ripping everyone after the stripe. I tried not to be a dyck to the guy, but I told him that's their trademark, if you can beat em, you'll laugh if they do it.

People get work'd up over the stupidest chit, it's incredible.

So, assault would improve the situation overall....how? Just explain to the officer that this is how it was done in the old days?

"withdrew"? Or doesn't hold an NHRA license anymore, so he can't race an NHRA race?

Who pulls out of a national event willfully while going for the world championship and his main job is racing?

Well, yes, if some jackass did that to me or my kid, an assault on that person would have occurred asap... no problem
But then the internet would have lit up about that.

Ya'll must not win much, to have that low a tolerance for sore losers who go postal.

I've seen all kinds of jaggoff's.

Since I'm there solely to get paid, I laugh my azz off at em.

I mentioned it before, I had a guy in a rage after losing for the second time in one night, run the front tires of his dragster under the back bumper of my Nova. He'd a been f'd if I tapped the brakes.

Yeah, a 150+ MPH racecar comes over into your lane trying to crash you it's funny so you laugh it off.
But you run into a foam cone sitting still on the centerline you whine and cry for decades...

Are you trying to show the level of your intellect again, or just ignoring that it's already been pointed out, if Veruka intended for a crash to occur, it would have?

Nobody should have to explain this to you princess.

The same type question apply's to the fraud by track officials at Bradenton.

The fraud that Bradenton track officials perpetrated by rigging a drag race, is a far worse crime than the one at the million.

Track officials at Bradenton had 45 minutes to think about the fraud they were about to commit. They plotted and planned their fraud - the fantasy story to put Siegel back in the race 45 minutes after he loaded up, tied his car down and shut the door on his trailer.

If Folk Promotions would have handled this, this thread wouldn't have existed. Hunter was going deep in the Million. Imagine what would have happened if he had won the race!

As I have said throughout this thread, no one did or will do anything about this racer’s action to wreck another racer, it’s all and has always been about the $. If you chose to compete at this event and others, you should know by now that there are no rules and this latest incident makes that crystal clear. Further, legal as well illegal substances are being used by some racers and house cars are an absolute fact. If none of this is a concern for you, pay your entry fee and good luck. Oh and don’t scoop rock aka womp after the finish line or you may suffer consequences.
