I sure hope all you people have all your stuff up to date, licenses. pants, jackets, gloves, etc. Chassis certifications. And oh yeah, all you guys going quicker than 4.49 better have your -15 suit and neck restraint on or some internet nazi is going to publically hang you and get the track in trouble with NHRA if they don't enforce the rules.

We all agree what he did was wrong and the track should have handled it differently but they didn't. Do you really want big brother sticking their noses in here?

INTERNET NAZIS?
YOU ARE AS BIG AN IDIOT AS HIM. HAD HE TRIED TO SQUEEZE YOU,AND HIT YOUR CAR, WOULD YOU BE OF THE SAME OPINION?

NOT A CHANCE. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN AS VOCAL AS ANYBODY.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY EVERYBODY WITH A BAD OPINION OF THE RECKLESS ATTEMPT IS VOICING THEIR OPINION. THIS KIND OF **** SETS A PRECEDENT.

You gotta admit that the promoter got lied to about what happened when he went to take care of business.
NHRA didn't see the Double O **** Show post and go HEY, WE GOTTA DO SOMETHING! That's preposterous. Someone of principal involvement started the ball rolling.

Meanwhile, 1 week later and still no comment or disciplinary action from the promotor.

1320racer, Randy Folk owns the rights to the original Million. He got the rights from George Howard. Randy and his crew seem to do a great job putting this race on. I think that Randy might have got missled as Hunter's side of story but I wasn't at the conversation. I am from Ohio and Randy lives in Florida. Its not like we hang out all the time. Its too bad this happened at the Million. Its not the events fault it was a racer using terrible judgement. The next Million is at Montgomery in 2 weeks and I may head down there. Racer friend from Alabama tonight said Hunter is not welcome at that race per track owner. Hate to see a black cloud be put on a race that has been going on for years over a youngster with an attitude. He needs a time out for sure and a little respect for others life and property. If it is not too cold I will see you at Piedmont.

Randy is good people, BMF racer too. Always a barn burner when I raced Randy, Sunshine or Bradenton.

I don't know anyone who knows Randy, who don't like him.

Best kinda guy there is, to be pitted near at the track. Good neighbor to have. You gotta switch out a trans, you know he'll be there. Handing wrenches, holding a light or whatever.

The FACTS and the TRUTH have been known for 6 days! Randy had plenty of time to denounce this racer and distance himself and his event from him and he continues to do NOTHING!

I rolled in at 3:30 am Friday morning I did not know he actually hit the other guy until early Friday morning I was amazed he was still on the grounds……it was the TALK all weekend and every person I personally talked to thought he should have been throwed out…

You are on the Wrong side of Right on this one. There is nothing and no way you can justify what the kid did trying to run over someone intentionally. I think he should be banned for life. That could have destroyed someone $100,000 car or killed someone. I can laugh off the starting line games and bull but when you try to run into someone there is no excuse. So just don't go there and make yourself look like an idiot.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

So the kid tried to run Trey over but somehow failed to do what he intentionally set out to do?
Ok.

How could he fail on the track in shutdown, to run the other car over?

When he failed to run the car over on the track, why didn't he run the car over in Trey's pit area?

Do you see how ridiculous and over dramatic you sound?

If the kid intended to crash into Trey's car, he would have.

I should not have to explain this to you. You should be able to put this together for yourself.

Seriously, do you really need me to explain this to you?.

15 pages.. of running a fellow racer into the ground.. really? if you ask me yall are just as bad (if not worse) as the incident itself. i do not know Hunter personally, i only met & spoke to him at the Spring Fling at Galot this year. i haven't seen him do or say anything disrespectful, out of line, unsportsmanlike etc. i was not at the race so i really can't speak on it. i did watch the video i admit it looked "suspicious". i first heard that his steering rack (or wheel not sure which) broke. then i saw his "apology" post on fb.(heard there was a post prior but i never saw it) if he intentionally did in no way am i saying it was right. i fully agree that if it was, some sort or punishment should have taken place, but it should have been up to the track, Randy or his opponent. to have his NHRA license suspended is a bit much if you ask me. i heard he did go & apologize to the dude. i also heard there was an altercation at the e.t. booth. (don't know if it was related or not) again most of this is just "hearsay" because i was not there.

If you go postal on an NHRA track, you get a suspension, justifiably so.

Typical for the NHRA, this is an improvement. They could have given him a lifetime.

I believe everyone deserves a second chance, so I believe this kid comes back a better man and racer.

I think the NHRA are trying to help him.

This wasn't premeditated, it was passion. Either way you cannot go postal on a NHRA drag strip.

I hope he does come back a better man for it, I think this will be a great rivalry for years to come. Trey is a tremendous racer and a real good kid. Works his azz off to make these races.

Quiet very experienced racer, beyond his years.

These two will end up friends, they went through hell together.
