Environmental Militant Killed by Police Environmental Militant Killed by Police at Discovery Channel Headquarters A radical enviornmentalist who took three hostages at the Discovery Channel headquarters while wearing what police may be explosives was shot and killed by officers, police said. The gunman, identified as James Lee, was killed by police following four hours of negotiations but the hostages are all safe, said Montgomery County Police Chief J. Thomas Manger. Manger said the suspect had "metalic canisters" strapped to his chest and back. When Lee was struck by police bullets, one of the canisters "popped." Police have not confirmed if the canisters were a bomb, but Manger said the "device may have gone off" when he was shot. Manger said police will search the building looking for other potential explosives Lee may have left inside. Why are alleged atheists so hung up on religion? The word bible is used all the time without any religious connection! MELTDOWN OF THE CLIMATE "CONSENSUS"! The prestigious InterAcademy Council, an independent association of "the best scientists and engineers worldwide" formed in 2000 to give "high-quality advice to international bodies" has finished a thorough review of ipcc practices and found them badly wanting! What does the best evidence tell us? That man-made global warming is a mere hypothesis that has been inflated by exagerations and downright malfeasance fueled by the awarding of fat salaries to any "scientist" that will produce the right "results". The warming "scientific" community, the climategate E-mails reveal, is a tight clique of like-minded "scientists" and bureaucrats who give each other jobs, publish each others papers and conspire to shut out any point of view that threatens their "GRAVY TRAIN"! In the last two years, several teams have estimated Greenland is shedding roughly 230 gigatonnes of ice, or 230 billion tonnes, per year and West Antarctica around 132 gigatonnes annually. Further still the amounts that are being talked about in the article you choose to respond with, even if the numbers for the melt are halved, are still stupefyingly large, and in no way discredit global warming as a fact.
