Let's skip all the bu11sh1t and get right to the crux of the issue: The earth went through major changes long before man roamed the earth, and will continue changing long after we have all gone bye bye. As significant as you think humans are, we are nothing in the big picture. Nothing more than a pimple on the a22 of this planet. She will change with or without our influence.
