Abortion opponents brave frigid temperatures in Washington for March for Life
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The annual March for Life is taking place today despite a winter storm that is hampering the region.

The march marks the 41st anniversary of the 1973 Supreme Court decision in the Roe v. Wade case that affirmed a woman's right to an abortion.

The Washington Post reported thousands of abortion opponents poured out of Masses, concerts and training sessions at midday Wednesday and headed toward the National Mall in frigid weather for the 41st annual March for Life.

With temperatures hovering around 10 degrees, the crowd was smaller than usual as many Washington-bound trains and buses were canceled.

"We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman's access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom. And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and continue to build safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams."

Great weather in the desert today....went and did my walk in 70* degree weather! Talked to family in NY yesterday and it was 10* last night plus the wind chill factor! Oh wait, isn't New York near SnOhio?

Actually numb nuts it's "back east" and your right I couldn't handle the weather....that's why I've been "out west" 45 years next week. Anybody that lives back east and brags about living in SnOhio isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I guess I didn't mention that I went and bowled 4 games right after the walk and I'm bowling every day this weekend with my grandson. You know a grandson is part of a family, something you don't have.
