but if you read the forums on quakers main site, it looks like a familiar face from PRP might be running the show there.

i wish them all the best, but when they come to PRP for the bracket finals, we will still send them back home empty handed

Now that was'nt very Christmaslike Hammer!

You know, I heard that rumor also about beating my Kid and couldn't believe it. I never Ever hit my kid or put a mark on him...EVER!!

Yes there were a lot of head nodders that wouldn't say a word to ownership or management, but they would talk behind their backs about what they really thought.

My main complaint was not the taking the ladder away, it was taking the 2nd chance race off the kids. Less racing is not a good thing IMO, as they could enter after they lost 2nd round.

I never was told not that we couldn't race at PRP. In fact I heard that rumor after the season was over and called Mike and he said.....I never heard or said that. He did mention that he heard I beat my kid which you can ask my kid or my wife and when I told them that, they laughed.

I left QCR after the 2006 season when they closed and PRP has been my track of Choice since then. I was back there 1 time since then.

You can say what you want about me , but the only thing I am concerned about is the program for the kids. When they get short changed it does not go over well with me. Those that know me know I have helped just about everyone there at some point and would give the shirt off my back to get their car running better so they can have fun.

In closing, everything that has been said by me has already been said to former management and Mike face to face. I have nothing to hide here and if you do not believe me call him. When a season is started one way, it should finish that way.

I thank Mike for sticking money into the track in these times. He has the best track around IMO and with the management changes and track upgrades it looks to be a great season at PRP for 2011.

I got to meet MadMonte454 and his kid slot car racing several years back. I also got to watch them race at QCR. I think it is preposterous that anyone would even think such a thing of these good people. He always took the time to explain and teach not only his kid but anyone that asked or needed help. Good people in my book.

Amazing how much the kids talk when away from the parents. Talk about living your life through your kid. Plus i was told all the JR parents voted and you and one other were the only ones that voted against the change. Something about switching from using a ladder to using a random card system and that caused an extra few rounds because buy back could now re-enter the main race. Sounds like to me you had the problem and not the track. Didn't you leave QCR then left PRP and went to another place? Sounds like you need to look in that mirror as to where the real issue is. Didn't you even have to call and apologize to the PRP owner before he let you come back because of all the bad stuff you were saying against PRP? I got all this second hand but from a very good source.

I agree with Prest911 you guys ***** too much. Seems like anytime there is a JR issue your at middle or cause of it. You even went over to the QCR thread to ***** about the PRP jr program. Ever think the issue is you?

First off I will say you are way out in left field on the whole subject!!
fact a. Monte has never beaten his kid, Upset, hell yes, may have even thrown a few things but I was parked right beside him on the day that he supposedly beat his kid and it never happened, and if it had I would have been right there to stop it but never happened!!
Fact B: I was the one that was banned from the track and Mike Frank and I had a pow wow and all was forgiven as my intentions were good it just came out wrong!
Fact C: Monte like myself is Black and white when it comes to issues and is not afraid to voice his opinion and he does it to the person in question and not behind their backs!!
THe changing of the system mid season in the middle of points was bull**** and everybody was pissed but few had the balls to say so!
THere was no vote it was here is what we are doing and this is the way it is going to be!
if it had happened to the big cars hell would have opened up!!! In closing instead of believing rumors and innuendo go straight to the horses mouth so to speak if you have questions before forming an opinion and voicing said opinion with such accusations in a public forum as it could be an ugly situation!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason!
