This weather is great! I put the final wax job on the car and took it for one more cruise to make sure everything is ok before I head to the track this weekend. Anyone else heading to mason-dixon before PRP opens? Im going down saturday for TNT and reg racing Sunday. I might come home Saturday depending how it goes.

Mikey wish I could make it. Finished up the car last night but still have no trailer to two it there with. Also traveling this week for work so I will not have any time to work on it. Should have the trailer read to go for the following weekend when PRP opens.

Good luck if you make it down there. Let me know how it goes.

No problem AJ, you need to get the trailer fixed for the following weekend. Depending on PRP I might go down again for a footbrake race.

Thanks Jeff, GL to you too. I thought about going to Beaver but I really dont care for the track and its been awhile since I went to M-D.

Chuck maybe you should have had the Homer pants on. Razz

im guessing maybe 15 or more passes in the 2 days there.

they posted yesterday on their website that next week they are grinding the track out to the 300' mark.

what i like is that its open lanes, if you are ready to go, just get in line at the staging lanes and go,

but next weekend , we will be at prp.

What a beautiful few days... I got to take out my new bike for a while. I finally own a street legal motorcycle lol. Its nice not having to look over your shoulder when riding down the road. Can't wait to see what she does on the track!

Nice Jordan I like it. I had a 600rr and a 954rr that I sold about a year ago. I ran both of them stock(with a pipe) the 954 ran 10.50's 137mph and the 600 ran 11.60's 121mph. You can get bolt in extenders for the swing arm so you dont have to get to deep with tearing the bike up.

Ya Mikey, I already have 7 inch bolt on ext. on the way. Trying to determine how much of a gearing change I want to do still. Sport Rider Mag does their yearly test of stock bikes and they had the 600RR running 10.50s stock so I am hoping to get mine in the 10s too. i am not sure where they ran this but i am sure the air was perfect lol. I would eventually like to get a 600 in the 9s but we will see.

They have been saying that the 600's run 10's for years. I dont have any idea where they come up with those numbers. My buddy Sean Mazurek showed me that years ago with his 2003 600rr and it also ran mid 11's. With it extended and more hp at sea level they might go 10's but from the factory I dont believe it. Anyway Im sure you get it done with some work Wink
