Although it looks cool, I don’t need anything to tell me what I already know……… my driving sucks most of the time when I loose. |

Mmmm, I've had many questionable experiences that this particular device could have cleared up with much less pain and self doubt.

| I will be joining Big Steve in moving back to having doors. Sold my dragster and will be updating the chassis and reassembling the Avenger. Actually updating a lot. Dave

| Instead of making a new thread I’m gonna ask this question here. Partially because I’m bored, or not. LOL Engine has over 400 passes, typical older 565 S/C setup. Brodix cnc 3-Xtra heads, steel rods, callies crank, bla bla bla. Trying to decide if I should have it freshened. I have been considering just doing a leakdown test and probably replacing valve springs and a new belt for the belt drive. I have recently replaced the lifters so they are good and the valve lash has been great. What say you? Freshen it or run it another season? BTW, it has been running great and even my driving hasn’t sucked too bad. Last three races, won, lost second round, runner-up. Let’s hear your thoughts.

Easy choice for me, since I don't spend much money on my hobby. Run it as is, but don't lean on it so hard. Maybe shift 500 rpm lower. Take care. Tom Worthington
If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

| Steve, the answer is no. I’m gonna say about 650 runs total. I really want to build a new engine but I’m waiting on a financial deal. Engine builder is swamped and I want to run Phoenix in February. No guarantee they would be done by then. I’m gonna leak it next week and if things look okay I’ll run it and start gathering up some new parts to put something else together.

Cash, I'd add drop the pan and check the bearings. Go from there.. Dave
