I went trailer shopping and about passed out. So I found a nice 48' LQ Vintage Intimidator across the highway from me and just had a guy totally rework the garage area with new cabinets and walls.

Then I had a new set of stainless headers built that cost me as much as the trailer re-do. lol

I'm going to wash the car and change all the fluids. Also putting on a new set of slicks. Still haven't decided if I'm going to try MT or not this round.

Trailer needs some attention so I will probably spend most of my time with that. Also I am having to work on a '71 Ford truck that belonged to my brother in law before he died. It means a great deal to my wife so it comes before the roadster.

Converting from a 14-degree setup on the motor to a 9-degree setup. Part of the build is putting on one of the billet intakes. Alan and the boys at SDPC are doing all the engine work. Can't wait to get in the car.

If you’re new to Grid you’ll really like it when finished. And if you presently do not use a crank trigger consider installing one. I like DD products (especially the relay board) and used them in my car.

Changing back to 4.56 gear, pondering some data acquisition devices, new steering wheel, possibly get the power steering put back on the car. Section the rear frame for wider wheels.
Reality is that probably only the gear gets done.

New to me golf cart is an oil leaker, it's an out of chassis repair. Club Car.

Have a new engine and some other little parts in stock for my lawnmower that need installed.

Two 100cc pavement go carts that the kids are itching to drive need to come into the shop for some work too...fit seats, fix brakes.

Assorted motorcycle maintenance operations and repairs overdue....

Home and rental property upkeep is about enough to keep me tired most days. Laughing Hard

vetman,
I would say that when you get done painting the Nova...it will be a LOT MORE than just shiny! Your bodywork, attention to detail and paint are top flight. I bet is going to be sharp!
Now, as far as our new S10 I did...it's shiny!! LOL! The 377" with 6200 convertor should be "interesting".
*Starting on a 434 for one of the trucks and I think I have everything but cam and lifters. Not sure if I want to go "mild or wild" on camshaft. Got a good set of ported Dart Pro1 230s.

See ya in May!! (The new track paving looks AWESOME at CFR)!!

It is on the list of upgrades, AND, I have searched here and copied everything that you have shared about the Grid into a Word document, incl using the Yellow wire to trigger the shift.

BIG Steve, Great video. Color Looks Excellent. You won’t need those bars on the back if what you posted is true.

CAD, Beautiful paint work also, Very Nice!!!

Thank you, as lightweight as it is and with the simple 565 I am putting in on gas, it should run 5.20s but my plan is to slow it down with the grid and early shifts and run a local 5.80 index so my plan it to not run wheelie bars once I get it dialed in. I have not let go on a pro tree since my SG days in the 90s, should be interesting

Lol!!!

Who would cut bars out for .005 of a second! Plus nothing to hold onto if someone wanted a ride in the bed. Big Grin

Looks good! Ex PST?

What's the obsession with orange? I remember the Camaro and dragster were orange.

And might I say that you had a pretty good handle on the dragster going as fast as you were! I don't believe that chassis was built to go 6.00. Good job.

If you plan on slowing it down and don't have all the engine pieces, I'd run pump gas. My²¢

Cool

If it proves that I can run without the wheelie bars I will unbolt them, they are just in the way and a PITA

Yes, Ex PST, originally set up for SBC and Liberty 5 speed but was completed right before NHRA killed the class. Lamb struts in front, all MW in the back. Has a current NHRA 6.0 chassis sticker

I like orange, what can I say Big Grin

Thank you, The TD did run exceptionally well and turned on a lot of win lights. It Was a blast going 235mph but also very expensive

The 565 bbc for the truck is the same one that was in the Camaro and dragster with a Rons terminator. Its been sealed up and in storage for 5 years, going to freshen it up and put a gas carb on it. Not worried about going fast anymore
