Two questions…… Thought this truck had a bench seat in it for a passenger? Is the scoop needed for hood/ carb clearance?

About the seat & hood. I have decided to make it as light as practical. Thus, no bench seat. The scoop is because I want to.

Looks great buddy but the scoop cancels out the square 10 theme! I bet you can still find one of those old rectangle hood scoops around somewhere
