Larry, is this the stepside truck you wanted help naming?

Should be a great build as yours usually are.

Curtis, no, this is a different core. It is a 1989 square body, thus, square 10.

Definitely looking like another great project, Larry! Who did the 9 Inch axle housing come from?

Jim, I buy the housings from Strange with the axle tubes over length so I can build the exact width to suit my wheelback spacing.

The Strange housing is a quality part, well made, well braced.

I realize that the market offers several excellent-quality, easy-to-install switch panels. Yet, I am old and like holding onto my old roots of building things. I receive satisfaction from hand-building. The K & R box and toggle switches will mount here.

I agree, Larry. That piece looks to be very well made. Thank you.

Right there with ya Larry. I made my own valve covers, fuel cell, carb filter, radiator over flow tank, radiator filler tank, dash, firewall, upper A-arms, both motor plates, cut apart and re-welded my seat to make it fit. I take a lot of pride in making things my way, instead of someone else's idea that is more universal.
