Larry, that oversized aluminum plate used for switch panel / delay box is mounted in a spot that could be called harms way imho. Consider re-mounting it to the dash bar area. Or at very least round the two lower pointed corners to the radius of a quarter. ![]()

Looking good Larry. What is your best guess on a debut?

Curtis, I am beginning a new shop build and moving, so the date has been moved forward. In addition, because of heavy rain in the area, the new shop lot is too wet for heavy trucks to bring in select fill soil. I think realistically, it will be next spring. I do have an understanding with the fellow who bought my property that I can continue to work there until the new shop is ready. However, with some stuff here and some stuff there and some stuff in boxes, well, you see the dilemma. Larry Woodfin

MarkeMark note: In an earlier post, you suggested rounding the corners of the switch mount using a quarter as the radius. I do not have a quarter but did have a piece of pie, so I used that. Larry Woodfin ![]()

Enjoy seeing any build. But before you wire that delay box I would get it out of your line of sight to something like this. https://photos.app.goo.gl/teJYNNXVezCFNCNs8 ![]() Configuration: 3350#, 582 C.I., 60 - 1.24 1/8 - 5.53@ 126MPH 1/4 - 8.73@ 159MPH ![]() 3700#+210lb driver, FULL interior, through mufflers, 10.5 tire. 60'-1.333 (IN 4000ft DA! I like the bare bones look, race business look, The wiring is ruffed in and placement of most components decided. All will be nice and clean when completed. Everything is tested and operates correctly. This is basically the look, no dash, no carpet, all business. Larry Woodfin ![]()

I will say this Larry. Wiring this truck is a breeze compared to the 66 Nova street car I have been laying under the dash of. LOL Oh, and in the trunk also.
