Wooley,

Notice the jacks placed mid-frame. These help support the frame during construction. To keep alignment and support, the new frame rails fit inside the OE frame, and then, once in position, the OE rails are cut away.

Larry, I like those wheels you are using. I think they will look really good when it's completed.

The Square 10 will be the most bare bones, stripped down piece I have ever built. The interior will have a steering wheel, shifter, and seat. No dash, no carpet, no mat, maybe a couple of the 3M anti-slip pieces. I expect it to weigh around 2850 with driver.

Larry, are you retiring that heavy bench seat and installing a race seat or even a bucket seat? Given your estimated race weight, engine size on methanol and slr gearing (strictly 1/8 mi) should easily run 6.1x……Nice!

Markemark, my significant other, sweetie pie, sunshine smile, likes to ride with me to the lanes and set with me as we move near run time. Thus, the OE bench seat is a minor weight penalty for a lovely relationship. Plus, I have removed enough weight elsewhere to compensate.

Nice one, Markemark! Wink
Larry, truck looks good in "sunshine smile" yellow! Big Grin I am sure you won't mind dialing up the .05 second weight penalty for that seat.

I have done the same and it is a huge job moving and building new house and shop. Keep us informed on how it goes.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
