You are missing a lot by not going a little bit South. Norwalk is right there in Northern Ohio along with Cedar Point Amusement park. At least you are going

Thanks Fern, We are very familiar with Cedar Point have been many...many times when younger. We consider it the best amusement park we've been to. We didn't go to the local dragstrip today they were repaving this weekend. Hoping the Fling door car race lands in Norwalk. There's still no announcement where it will be. I might consider hauling there if it does, but the Camaro is not where I want it yet for that caliber of race. Hope all is well with everyone! 2BKING ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. Pump Gas 436

Happy Sunday kids... Fern, 2BKING, Cedar Point is by far the best park for thrill rides. Haven't been in years. Maybe it's time for a refresher visit? I watched some of the IHRA race yesterday. They're putting on a really good show. I may head to GALOT when they run there. Amazing thing happened yesterday/today. Over 24 hours without rain. LOL. Been a semi productive weekend I suppose, just not on the race car. Still have tomorrow, so I need to get in gear. At least both yards are finally mowed. I feel better about myself now. Having problems with my primary mower over the week, so worked on it yesterday and today. Got an oil leak that may require removing the engine. No bueno.... Tensioner pulley bearing is getting loud as well. Easy fix, once the new one comes in. Installed new shocks on my golf cart, since the originals were blown out. Whoever engineered these EZ-GO units is an idiot. No room for the top nut. Had to use the sawzall on one of them. Test ride done, and noticed a fuel leak, (it's a gasser). Damm fuel bowl. That's on for tomorrow I suppose. Should be simple enough. Should have 2-3 hours tomorrow to give the car some attention. Y'all have a great weekend.. I don't know where I was when they announced Galot for the Fling door car race. My wife found it last night when we were having drinks around the fire. While Galot is a nice track, was hoping for Norwalk; one of my bucket list tracks. BTR, Totally agree with Cedar Point! We did stay nearby for one night in Put-in-Bay; nice ferry ride & too much drinking! 2BKING out for now. ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. William did you miss the two $50k races at VMP? I watched some but found it to waste to much time. Last night at 3 cars it was Micheal Paschal with 2 entries and Richard Alford in Chad Dukes Camaro. Richard beat one of Paschals entries curfew got them and somehow they declared Richard the overall winner although they did not run the final. To much track time wasted after 10 cars or they could have finished. Glad to see my long time friend Richard win one. I got out there and got my rear end housing all cleaned up and ready for the 3rd member to be put back in. The temp was just right for working on it. 4 wheeler won't crank so thats another project and the grass keeps growing. Life is good. Everyone stay safe.

Fern, I didn't catch any of the VMP race, but read a short bit about it today. Supposedly flipped a coin to determine the winner. About to head to the garage to get my hands dirty. Wish me luck... LOL William Kilduff 1970 Barracuda 1968 Camaro X2 1968 Caprice 1964 F100

45th class reunion! Since I never graduated from school I have missed that tradition. BUT-a couple years ago I visited a friend I grew up with in Cleveland that did. We have both had a wonderful life. By the way you missed the rock&roll hall of fame. It has rained here for so long that everything is a swamp. We did get some relief from the heat for awhile though. Everything is there to finish the rear in the car just need to get motivated. Everyone stay dry and safe

Fern, we have been doing many things on our road trip & we did discuss going to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. We are in our home town of Coldwater, MI. until Monday morning. Spending time with family & friends. Things seem so much simpler here than out West & we are enjoying it. Hope all is well with everyone! 2BKING ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. Pump Gas 436

Happy Saturday y'all. Been a busy week keeping up with work through our monsoon season. Had a customer tell me, the past couple months remind her of living in the Pacific NW. Rain every daggum day. LOL. No work on the car this week, yet. Doubt I'll do anything tomorrow either. Other needs have taken priority. My primary mower needed some love and while addressing a bum pulley, I found out the engine may be going south. Almost made it to 4200 hours. Replacement engine is roughly $2500-$3000. Considering selling the golf cart once I get the new fuel bowl gasket. Should help offset mower costs. The #2 machine just got a promotion it appears. Was able to go to our soon to be for sale house today and clean out more stuff from my brothers shed. He split time between here and Jacksonville, so I gave him my big shed out back for his needs. Haven't really had time, or made time to clean it out since he passed. All car and mower stuff, so nothing to go bad out there. Uncovered 4 BB Chevy heads and 7 SBC heads. Don't think I remember seeing them before, so pretty surprised. They're the heavy iron ones, which wore me out moving them from floor to trailer, then into the shop. Handful of intake manifolds as well. Lots of 1st gen Camaro stuff. If ya need door glass for one, it appears I have a bunch. Fern, hope you're making progress over there. btw, I mowed my wet grass today. LOL 2BKING, sounds like you're on cruise control on the long vacation. Enjoy. Hope everyone is doing well out there. We went to my class reunion last night. I had an absolute blast but had too much drinky! I remember most of the event until the very end when leaving. My wife said I was cracking everybody up in good way, wish I could remember! I haven't drunk that much in a long time. Anyway, we depart Southern MI. tomorrow morning headed to Iron Mountain MI. in the upper peninsula. No real reason for the stop other than food & rest. We are starting our trek back West. Going to stop at Mount Rushmore, Deadwood SD & Devils Tower. Plus, anywhere else my wife tells me to. Hope all is well with everyone! 2BKING ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. Pump Gas 436

Hey y’all, quick check in. All is good, miss being a regular. Can’t race my way out of a paper bag this season, but we’re having fun. Fern, before I forget, I’ll be announcing WDRA bracket finals at Galot first weekend in October if you happen to be in the area. I hope you’re all doing good out there! Yes sir, I have the baddest SS/C Car the NHRA ever saw. I'm sure it may not be quite up to speed with what it could be now, given how knowledge, technology and parts have improved over the past dozen years. Plus, I'm not the genius at making HP as many long timers are. Planning to put it back where it belongs, on the dragstrip, hopefully before the end of this year. If all goes as hoped, I'll run some division 2 races, CCRA and Gear Jammer races. Got it from my brother before he passed. He loved that car from the first time he saw Jimmy race it. Jimmy made a big impression on him. Hey Chuck, good to see ya back. If any of my friends make that GALOT race, I may tag along to support them. If so, I'll look you up. Y'all have a great week.
