It hasn't changed much, lol, I would've thought they would've added some AC by now tho! Eyes Can't imagine eating there on a hot summer day.

Have a great Sunday!

It'll be a good Sunday, Ms. Furr, cause I woke up! Any day you wake up makes it good! Just gonna be another hot one, 111+! Looks like more of the same for tomorrow and then maybe that high pressure will move north a bit and let those mescan clouds move into our valley and give us a 10-20% chance of rain (whatever that is!) We are right smack in the middle of what is called the monsoon season (when dew point stays above 50 degrees) and the dew point is down in the low 30 degree range. Wish someone would kick El Nino in the rear in the Pacific and make him move our way! Floyd, get on your yacht and go out there and give him a push! Wink Big Grin Eyes Smile just do it Cool

Most definately Guy, I meant to tell you I had to look up Frijoles the other day when you mentioned them (I'll admit I wasn't sure what it was) but I found some neat recipes on line, planning on trying one sometime soon! We have a neat little Mexican restaurant "Rio Grande" they have 2.99 lunch plates, the kids fav is the Chimichingas!

Morning! Well it's Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend full of racing and lots of family time!

Friday I took my sis, Lorraine to have her test done. She goes at the end of month for a sonagram on the inside of her stomach. What they found so far is that her stomach is not a "normal" stomach. Apparently our stomach are in constant motion. Many folds and it pushes. Which if you blow up a balloon and let the air out it shrivels up, like your stomach with all the wrinkles. So, they want to measure her stomach walls and with the sonagram they can see things that we can't see with our eyes. More blood work was ordered also. So, that is where we are at till the next test. The doc was very cordial and informing and spent at least an hour with us. I asked alot of questions. Her throat, and lower gi tract is okay.

Nikki is holding her own. It's just a slow process. Her birthday is on the 8th, she will be 7. I updated her thread. God bless her!

I hope everyone on here is doing well! Prayers and thought to all our friends on DRR. I thank God that I have a place to talk to friends!!

Have a sunny day!

Mornin' all! I did miss y'all while I was gone! It is hard being back, and not only wearing shoes after being barefoot for a week, but dress shoes to boot. Actually, I'd like my boots over these shoes. Big Grin

Mike, we all know you're a softy, but that's good stuff too. Big Grin Thanks, I know exactly what you mean, and I'm glad to call you a friend. Someday we'll be in the same place at the same time and can pop a top.

I can't do justice to describing how cool it is to see the turtles leave their little flipper marks in the sand. Figures we were in Carolina, the home of the 4 lane ZMax Dragway, because the little critters seemed to like to go 4 wide. I was listening, but I couldn't hear any of them burp, so they must have been WOT. Big Grin Tongue Even cooler was watching my youngest 2 nieces get to see them, and the look on their faces. Good stuff.

Guy, we have a tradition of going to the local Mexican restaurant over in Shallotte while we're there. It's no Los Dos Molinoa, but it's tasty, and with Chuck-sized margaritas! Big Grin

Makes my mouth water Chuck T! I guarantee you that if you drank one of those pitcher's at Los Dos you wouldn't walk out, they would have to carry you out! That's the same size mug they use though! Looks like you got plenty of room for the whole pitcher though! Is that a napkin
layin' there or your Last Will & Testament just in case they have to carry you out of there? Hope you took the paper off the straw! If I was there I would wipe the salt off too, or tell them not put it on there! Don't need any "blood thinner" at my age, just a couple of margaritas, a country band and a dance floor and we would put a show on for you if I don't fall down! Glad you had, and can afford to have, a good time! Best to all the rest of the week! Eyes Hum Sleep Smile just do it Cool
