Why not have an O2 on each cylinder bank? Thats how my son has his set up, I assume the Holley ecu pulls an average from the 2 sensors besides being able to read each one individually if you want to, but he also said if one fails he can flip a switch and move everything to the O2 that is working and keep racing......That could of helped you when the header tube broke

Using Greg H? REF?

How old are those? For it to split like that I’d imagine severe heat at the turn?

Barry,

Yeppers to using Greg at REF Unlimited. I need to make a return trip to pick them up before X-mas & drop them off at the coaters in Vegas.

Working on it but someone can be azz. It's posted on the FB page but states it's a draft. I asked to have it posted on lvms.com for the racers who don't have FB. As it stands, I haven't figured out how to post it on DRR from FB.

The new set of headers will have bungs on both sides. I will watch the video in my Holley EFI online course on how to add the 2nd O2 sensor.

Is this the Holley EFI course you are watching?

^^^^^^^Here’s Joes video of how to add a second O2 sensor in Holley ECU that uses only one. Perty cool! If one uses MSD Grid, the 7765 wide band O2 could be used in both Grid and Holley using this method.

Joe Simpson has Excellent Holley EFI training information, and his Trilogy is something that wasn’t available when I started my efi conversion in 2020. Great purchase choice.

It was a great investment for me & I got it at one of the cheaper prices!

I also found a great tuner to help with the more technical/trouble shooting areas. He's usually at most of our local races & we work good together on the tuning.

I was hoping to be able to talk some pre-race discussion in the next few days. Maybe someone else will be able to chat about some upcoming races, Double Trouble maybe?

Out here in the Southwest we have 2 races coming up:

The Hangover Nationals at Tucson, Az. I believe this is their 10th year.

We also have the Hungover Nationals at Barona, CA. Pretty sure this is an inaugural event.

Hopefully a DRR member(s) will attend one of the events & provide a little bit to share.

I was hoping to race one of the events but that's not going to happen because of the header issue. They're supposed to be coated/completed around the 1st of the year.

We spent yesterday/today with family. The best gift I got was from my 13-month-old grandson! It wasn't so much the photo/frame. It was more about opening it with him; his expressions, pointing things out, trying to communicate in basic jibber jabber & his over fascination with the picture. Priceless!

I look forward to spending more time this coming year at the track with my grandson!

This pic was from our 2025 Thanksgiving Nationals & I thought we had the wheelies calmed down less than this. I'll be tightening the front extension on the shocks more. I hate wheelies, especially on a .500 sportsman tree.

Normally I would be leaving for Bradenton today but not this year. The drama is on.
