Thanks it really got to me.
He was a great guy and I have known him 30 years
My son is the same age and that hits home since he has had some respiratory issues most of his life.
His parents are great people and it's a tragic loss for them and his wife and friends....

Sorry to read that Rich. I’ve lost count of retired friends, that I worked with for decades, taken too early by this COVID-19 Pandemic.
Ever notice how the most vocal opponents of any change, snap into line the second tragedy strikes at home? For example Nancy Reagan became a AIDS gay rights leader when her son came out and she learned from him how bad this HIV was. Before that, she helped Ronald ignore it and worse. AIDS killed many Americans and not just gays.

Paul it amazes me what I read on this site and others.

What people say and believe is almost beyond comprehension.....

If I say anymore I'd be attacked so I'll just say once you have someone you know taken by the virus it feels personal....

The Covid vaccination does not guarantee that you will not get Covid.
The Covid vaccination will not stop you from spreading Covid.
Several people have actually died from the vaccination.
If you had a positive result on an antibody test,I do not think it is "mental illness" to wait it out before you consider to take the vaccine.
If you already had a vaccination, the odds are quite high that a booster shot will be necessary by Fall.

If you already had a vaccination, the odds are quite high that a booster shot will be necessary by Fall. because of the mutations of a Corona virus this is true but doesn't make the vaccine a bad thing in my opinion

Good job.It proves that you can "sometimes" have serious open discussion about a topic without name calling and calling the other person a liar.

Curtis will put on a principled costume, when it's expedient.

It's not a natural phenomenon.

The CDC has now changed the MASK rules for vaccinated people.
Basically you don't need them unless you're on a Bus or a Train.
Of course it's up to the states if they will follow the science (as THEY say).

Now for the tough part, how are they going to tell who has been vaccinated?

Didn't think of that

I have had diarrhea for 18 days so far. I get a covid test in the morning and a colonoscopy and endoscopy on Monday. I have had both shots, sure hope this wasn’t a side effect of the vaccine. I guess it could be COVID. I’ll find out tomorrow.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
