Had my second test yesterday.
A relative told me 2 months ago he asked the doctor why his wife didn't get the virus since he had it. The doc told him straight out she's probably O+, she is and never got it.
I asked 2 people I've known for years in the medical field about this and they both said blood type is a factor, being O+ a person is much more unlikely to be infected, but not immune.
Thankfully I'm O+.

Blood type interestingly definitely does seem to play a role

I think we're going to learn a lot of new things about disease transmission from the research in covid. This really the first time in history where we've had modern tools to be able to research almost in real-time how a pandemic unfolds.

It's really going to be a positive for the world as a whole in the future I truly believe.

If there is funding for the research once the virus slows down. My bet is once it slows down the money dries up for the research and then we wonder why it all happens again.

Ok, got second shot 4 hours ago so far so good. Kind of a relief, still masking up and physical distancing but relieved. Hope I never get this damn Chinese Virus. Those of you not getting the vaccine think again....!

Been 7 hours, so far so good. Never had side effects from 1st. Pfizer shot.

14 hrs in is when mine started after the second shot

19 hours and still good. Pfizer is probably the better of the 2 vaccines out right now. Glad I got the 2 shots, as I said before "its a relief".

I had my pre-surgery covid test yesterday so I can get my arm fixed next Tuesday.
After my arm is fixed I'll start looking at vaccines again. So far I favor phizer but I'm curious about the one from J&J.
Nobody seems to know for sure how long you are safe after having it. I had it back in April or May.

Got both shots now... Moderna! It has been 17 days since getting the SECOND shot! NO side effects or anything... No worries!

Got my second dose of Pfizer last Thursday, ZERO side effects from either dose, wife had the same experience.

Seems like the experts are saying the vaccine is good for 4-11 months. So more like flu, not like others we got that are one and done. This as Americans killed from Covid-19 reaches 500,000 in a year.

I'm sure when we reach "Herd immunity " this will be incorporated in our annual Flu shot. Myself and several folks I talked to including my wife's friend who is 80 years old had no side effects.

Do you think the government unemployment numbers accurately represent the actual number of Americans out out of work? After all that, unemployed, is the definition a "reasonable person" would use for people not working. Do you believe the official inflation rate accurately reflects the rise in cost of goods and services to the average America? These numbers are heavily massaged and the definition is changed over time to skew these numbers to suite politicians/bureaucrats. While they are, old numbers can't be compared to new since they don't measure the same matrix. I guess I could have saved a lot of key strokes by simply saying the govt. is lying to you. And, the figure you quoted should be "with" not "from", words matter in this game. The flu has virtually been wiped out according to this years number of deaths. Covid is MORE a political issue than health, I'm sorry.

No of course the numbers aren't representative of what has really gone on here. The overall death toll is only slightly above what was expected without the pandemic. It has certainly been misrepresented.

Even so, with the information we have about the vaccine, normally I would be ready to get it when it was my turn. Frankly I'm not jumping at the opportunity. My trust in the government and the medical community has never been lower than it is now. RNA technology has never been used on a scale like this. We have no other choice than to trust the information that is out there. I'm not comfortable with that. What other way could an organization incapacitate more than half of a country or the world than to get something with a delayed or triggered response into their bodies? Get all of the military affected, all the police, the medical providers....man you could have your way with a country or the world. Tin foil hat? Dr Evil? After what I have seen and the lies that have become main stream, I wouldn't put anything past anyone.

One important thing to remember. NO ONE has died after they received the vaccine. 4 people in Oregon had mild symptoms that got the vaccine. Something to think about! That is a WIN WIN!

That sounds like something reported on CNN.

I have read many reports of people that have died after taking the vaccination,but "experts" have said that they died from other causes,NOT the vaccination.

The same "experts" that said COVID was responsible for 500,000 deaths and NOT other causes.
