Best so far 12.58, 100% stock except for sticky tires. Not bad for a 4000# tank with a 370 cu in engine.

It should run low 11's when I'm done with it and still be very streetable, quiet, smooth idling, etc

So, what are the plans to get it in the low 11's.

As Moe said, I have changed the converter to an FTI (what else?) with slightly higher stall than stock and have tightened up the posi with more clutches, didn't change the gear ratio (3.06), I still want to be able to cruise comfortably on the Interstate.

I have another 6.1 (370 cu in) Hemi that I am going to build for this car. It will still be a very streetable deal, smooth idling (almost), good street manners, quiet exhaust, etc. But it will be 7.0L (426 cu in) after stroking it. The heads have already been cnc'ed and it will be higher compression with more cam than the stock engine...….

For some reason I keep eyeing those belt driven air pusher things too...….

Didn't think of that

DO IT! whipple on top of that thing would be killer.

Whipple? Those things are huge and weigh 140 lbs.,do not remove by yourself(take my word for it) LOL

Yea I know you meant one those little tiny versions. Only issue I have with that suggestion is the owner of company and how Art Whipple screwed the racers when he quit certifying the blowers he sold us because he was pissed with NHRA.

By all means pump it up!!!!!

Lots of the Gen 3 Hemi guys are have issues with the Whipple blowers, making rattling noises and tearing up. The Edelbrock (TVS), Magnuson, Kenne Bell have been better. Personally I'm leaning towards the Procharger or Edelbrock. The Edelbrock is silent compared to the others, and I like stealthy. Wink
