I think you're missing the point, the Nova was named winner based on what you see in the photo at the stripe originally. The wagon was then loaded up in the trailer.

45 minutes later track officials made up an impossible story to put the wagon back in.

If it wasn't an impossible story why are you defending their actions, instead of Bradenton track officials with a clarification of their reason for changing the original call the wagon originally loaded up on, declared loser.
