Why would Force assume he would die at little Bighorn, if he attended a few of these test n tune national events at Indy, do you suppose?

Personally I'm not buying it. I just don't think you'll catch Force wearing a germ infested diaper on his face.

That's just my gut feeling. Although, I may be projecting a little.

Is NHRA a pillar that is needed to continue with a little staying power? Would we regret losing the largest sanctioning body our sport has? I dunno.

At some point we have to get back to believing in the basics of capitalism. Those with a winning strategy prosper and win. Those that don't go by the wayside and someone else fills the void. I sure hope NHRA isn't "too big to fail" if they make a succession of decisions that spells their demise. Yes I know we're not talking bailout here, it's just either we believe in capitalism or we don't. The current "free range socialism" we have now certainly isn't working any better.

Here's Garlits if they told him he needed a mask.

Someone start a thread about who wouldn't and who would comply.

I say Bernstein would have bent over for the maskerade.

Second you also stated that the entire NHRA season (pull the plug) by the end of July, looks like we have about 17 hours to go on that one.

LOL! He doesn't mention that, but ED has already started flopping like a HYPOCRITICAL DEMOCRAT! Wink

You already predicted it, your running out of time.

I'm not entirely sure where you are going with that. Yes I believe in capitalism. No I also don't believe in bailouts as a rule. But all that said, I think it would be naive to assume that losing that sanctioning body would have to effect on sportsman racing. Will it be good or will we regret the loss?

I am simply saying let the market decide. If NHRA is destine to survive great. But if they are destine to fail then roll with the punches. It will have failed for a reason and what comes out of the ashes, although it may be a painful adventure, will be better. Today's propensity to prop up failed models just because they are "comfortable" has come at a price. The NHRA survived the IHRA, AHRA and others because their model, at the time was superior.

Absurdity at it's finest considering government interventions, removing the ability to earn.

Lock downs.

The more business shutdowns we see, the more American jobs are lost, the more American jobs are lost, the more consumer spending plummets.

I hate to say it by son is in the auto aftermarket parts business, Turbosmart and 3P Connect. His businees has been setting a new record every month since the slow down. Now he doesn't sell chinese knockoff counterfeit products. His are all high end from original manufacturers so he is catering to a different clientele.
