El Nino has a tendency to shorten the precipitation in the northern tier of states, and increase it in the southern tier. Also, it will pull the jet stream more westerly and help to produce unusual cooling of the southern U.S. and away from the normally frigid upper mid west. _____________________________ Wes Scott

February 23, 2010 Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) today asked the Obama administration to investigate what he called “the greatest scientific scandal of our generation” — the actions of climate scientists revealed by the Climategate Files, and the subsequent admissions by the editors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4). Senator Inhofe also called for former Vice President Al Gore to be called back to the Senate to testify. “In [Gore's] science fiction movie, every assertion has been rebutted,” Inhofe said. He believes Vice President Gore should defend himself and his movie before Congress. Just prior to a hearing at 10:00 a.m. EST, Senator Inhofe released a minority staff report from the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, of which he is ranking member. Senator Inhofe is asking the Department of Justice to investigate whether there has been research misconduct or criminal actions by the scientists involved, including Dr. Michael Mann of Pennsylvania State University and Dr. James Hansen of Columbia University and the NASA Goddard Institute of Space Science. Anyone that believes a single word that Inhofe has to say about most things and Climate Change in particular, could only be a home schooled religious buffoon. Grandma, you been forgetting to take your Aricept lately? Maybe the DOJ can file charges against Inhofe for wasting their time, Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, for frivolous litigation, might be used. But that is mostly against the attorney that brings the suit for failure of due diligence on his part, in that he didn't figure out before hand that the suit was so stupid that any self-respecting lawyer should know better than to bring such a stupid suit before the court. Maybe DOJ should start a hearing to see if Inhofe is non compos mentis, and should be removed from office for same. Later Larry Sapere aude! Anybody notice that it's apparent algore's testicle swinging sycophant has studiously avoided all of the man-made global warming whack jobs withdrawing claim after claim they've been manufacturing out of whole cloth? From the head messiah at East Anglican University, the base for all claims, saying there hasn't been any warming in 15 years now to all the claims garnered from students dissertations, mountain guides musings and somebody speculating about glaciers melting that admits he knows zilch about glaciers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!! Later, Bill Koski

The absurdity is almost humorous, save the fact the bigoted religious fundamentalist homophobe, to use but a small selection of descriptive adjectives, is a US Senator, that my Dear is truly a tragedy of high degree. Further still is the greater tragedy that numerous people such as you, apparently believe anything he spews, precisely because of his ignorant religious ranting. Later Larry Sapere aude! As I posted earlier apparently the algore testicle swinging sycophant has studiously ignored the man-made global warming hoaxers of late withdrawing claim after claim they've made! Now he proves it by posting a cartoon with people under water when the claim of the seas rising has been withdrawn by the hoaxers! Get help! Current sea level rise has occurred at a mean rate of 1.8 mm per year for the past century,[1][2] and more recently at rates estimated near 2.8 ± 0.4[3] to 3.1 ± 0.7[4] mm per year (1993-2003). Current sea level rise is due significantly to global warming,[5] which will increase sea level over the coming century and longer periods.[6][7] Increasing temperatures result in sea level rise by the thermal expansion of water and through the addition of water to the oceans from the melting of continental ice sheets. At the end of the 20th century, thermal expansion and melting of land ice contributed roughly equally to sea level rise, while thermal expansion is expected to contribute more than half the rise in the upcoming century.[8] Values for predicted sea level rise over the course of this century typically range from 90 to 880 mm, with a central value of 480 mm. Models of glacial flow give a theoretical maximum value for sea level rise in the current century of 2 metres (and a “more plausible” one of 0.8 metres), based on limitations on how quickly ice can flow.[9] 1. ^ Bruce C. Bill and Inhofe, two dimwitted toadies, that constantly blow there gums just to hear themselves talk. Religion is the basis upon which all small minded and willfully ignorant people such as you and Sen. James Inhofe are made capable of disregarding mountains of data from so vast and varied a number of sources as to boggle the mind. If you are incapable of discerning the reality that all religion is myth carried forward from the dawn of human sentience, how is it even remotely possible that you could begin to fathom what reality truly is. The really scary thing is that somewhere around 80% of the US population seems afflicted with the same malady. Remember now Billy, refute each and every citation, OK? Later Larry Sapere aude! Are we supposed to be scared cause sea level is changing again? I have a real good observation for you. I live 20 miles from the Atlantic Ocean as the crow flies. Edge of Everglades, east of US27. I have had this place since 88. Have to carry flood insurance, etc. We put an "in ground" pool in immediately upon moving here. I took the fill from the hole for pool and spread it in horse paddocks. I found fossilized evidence that coral reefs and seashells were once here. The layer of fossils were in rock about 2 feet below surface and ran anywhere from a foot to 18" deep on average. The pool builder had debited for "demucking" and ended up crediting because my house/pool sits on base rock. The pool was contracted to 8 foot on deep end as all the young in my family are on tall side. The pool people begged me to allow 7-1/2' net depth because they beat up the equipment scraping. To me this is solid evidence that where I live was covered in seawater in past. Is there any surprise it may be again? Do you really think man is a major contributor? Do tyou really think we can do any more than shore up levies/dikes and protect as much as possible? Where does religion fit into this?

Interesting that the duped boobs taken in by the man-made global warming hoaxers have now thrown their guru from East Anglican University under the bus and then backed over him yet again! He was the darling of the algore testicle swingers until he was exposed and realizing his money tree had dried up he said "what the Hell, if I'm cut off I'll just blow the whistle on the entire herd of hoaxers"!!!!!!!!!!!!! "NO SIGNIFICANT GLOBAL WARMING IN FIFTEEN (15) YEARS NOW" was his announcement! Did this stop the algore testicle swingers? NO! They just threw their former messiah under the bus ignoring what he stated!!!!!!!!!!!!! These boobs must have an insatiable appetite to keep being duped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!! Oh Billy, I don't see you providing any data to falsify any of those links from the Wiki article on Sea Level Rise. All I see is just more of your ignorant ranting; using words you don't half the time understand in there proper context, about subjects you have no grasp of, or even the ability to grasp the basics of how the scientific method is used to describe anything. Just an ignorant parrot repeating whatever he hears, oblivious to the meaning or intent of any subject, much less the one at hand. Later Larry Sapere aude! Oh Billy, I still don’t see you providing any hard evidence that might falsify any of those links from Wiki on Sea Level Rise. For you, as someone that I can not possibly compete with, it should be pretty easy task to come up with a whole host of good solid evidence that proves all those lying hoaxers wrong, now wouldn’t it? I am waiting to be enlightened Billy, so where is the beef, Billy? Come on Billy, they're all just hoaxer's, right Billy?, Your monumental intellect should be able to dispose of them all with just a few flourishes of your rapier sharp mind, slashed to pieces on the keen edge of you flashing tongue.
