I've got to wonder how long and how far the sheeple, in the name of fairness, will allow the ragheads to dominate them. If the inability to recognize the seriousness, and take action, of our national debt is any indicator it doesn't look good. Simply cling to the statues quo until it's too late.

Israel says ground troops out of Gaza as cease-fire takes effect

The Israeli military has said that all of its ground forces have been removed from Gaza as a 72-hour cease-fire went into effect Tuesday.

The truce, agreed upon Monday by Israel and Hamas, took effect at 8 a.m. local time Tuesday (1 a.m. ET). The Times of Israel reported that a barrage of rockets were fired from Gaza minutes before the cease-fire was due to take effect. The paper also reported that Israeli's Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted two rockets over central Israel, while two other rockets fell into open areas in southern Israel near the Gaza border, causing no damage or injuries.
Previous attempts by diplomats to broker an end to the fighting have failed

Fearing Iraq's downfall, power brokers chose safe bet Abad

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Pressure on Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to step aside had become unbearable. Sunnis, Kurds, fellow Shi'ites, regional power broker Iran and the United States all wanted him out.

Maliki calculated he may have one more chance to hold onto power after eight years in office, even though alarmed allies had run out of patience as Islamic State jihadis swept government forces aside in much of western and northern Iraq.

The anger against Obama began as people concerned over the death of Michael Brown noticed that President Obama stayed silent for three days, refusing to make any statement about the death of the Missouri teen. Yet Obama almost immediately released a statement about the death of actor Robin Williams.

Several took to Twitter to report the continued criticism of both Barack Obama and Sharpton.

One noted that a protester in Ferguson yelled, "Obama, you have done nothing! We need you! You haven’t changed anything!"

Another report said that the people of Ferguson are "pissed at Obama and Al Sharpton via live stream." They yelled that Obama "Didn't do s**t for us," and some yelled, "F**k Sharpton."

Well the colored minions have finally realized the facts of the matter. They are pawns stirred by the tides of discontent. The only race loyalty is one-way via voting.

Holder has been outspoken. He called the country a “nation of cowards” on racial issues in 2009. As Obama did, he publicly identified with Trayvon Martin – the black teenager shot by George Zimmerman in Florida in 2012 – recalling incidents of racial profiling he faced as a young man.

This time, Obama has shied away from personalizing his response to the Ferguson shooting. But Holder is showing an acute interest in the case.

Talks being held in Cairo for a long-term Gaza cease-fire broke down Tuesday as Israel recalled its delegation hours after Palestinian militants broke an earlier truce by launching volleys of rockets.

An Israeli official told The Associated Press that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered negotiators at cease-fire talks to return home.

The Israeli military said a total of 10 rockets had fallen Tuesday, including one that damaged a coffee shop in southern Israel.

Israel responded to the rockets by launching their own airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.

NIXON CRACKS UNDER PRESSURE,
A week into the racial unrest and riots in suburban St. Louis, Missouri’s white, Democratic governor, under pressure from members of his party for his response, veered sharply and called for the “vigorous prosecution” of a white police officer who shot a black man on August 9. After 10 days of muddled response, Jay Nixon appears to have chosen exactly the wrong moment to be bold. Nixon’s press team claimed that the governor was not prejudging an officer who may have acted in self-defense, but when Nixon spoke in a scripted video message of the need “to achieve justice” for the family of the slain man and described the shooting as taking place in “broad daylight,” a term usually reserved for crimes, his message wasn’t hard to decipher. After protesters increasingly focused their ire on the Nixon first for neglect and then his deployment of troops to the town of Ferguson, the second-term governor seemed eager to curry favor with those calling for the arrest of the officer in the case.

[Four dozen arrested overnight - St. Louis Post Dispatch: “Missouri Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson … said some ‘criminals and agitators’ threatened police, threw glass and plastic bottles — some filled with urine — at officers and hid behind members of the media covering the protests.]

Feeling the heat - But Nixon’s aggressive posture came just hours before grand jurors might begin considering charges in the case. There has been similar pressure on the St. Louis County’s Democratic prosecutor, Bob McCulloch, deemed suspect by activists because he comes from a police family and his father was killed in the line of duty 50 years ago by a black suspect. The governor having appeared to prejudge the police officer the day before the grand jury is set to begin its probe will not make life any simpler for McCulloch who has refused calls from members of Congress, state lawmakers and others to step aside in the case.

WILL HOLDER HELP?

Holder helping or hurting? - Meanwhile, Attorney General Eric Holder is headed to Missouri today and bringing with him the full force of the national outrage among civil rights groups over the killing. If Nixon is still nursing any of the presidential (or vice presidential) aspirations revealed in his recent Iowa visit and a huddle with major Democratic donors, Holder’s arrival could hardly be considered good news. If Holder, who has become an iconic figure for liberal Democrats, feels obliged to set things right in a Democrat-led town in a Democrat-led county in a Democrat-led state, it’s not a good sign. Remember, Missouri Democrats have long relied on black voters in St. Louis and Kansas City to win elections in the Republican-leaning state. Nixon seems to have found a way to both anger black voters and the moderate Democrats.

An Italian doctor says: "In Italy, medicine is so advanced that we cut off a man's testicles, put them on another man, and in 6 weeks, he is looking for work."

The Dutch doctor says: "That's nothing, in Holland we take part of a brain, put it in another man, and in 4 weeks he is looking for work."

The Canadian doctor says: "Gentlemen, we take half a heart from a man, put it in another's chest, and in 2 weeks he is looking for work."

The American doctor laughs: "You all are behind us.
Six years ago, we took a man with no brains, no heart, and no balls and made him President. Now, the whole country is looking for work!"

This joke actually won an award for the best joke in a competition held in Britain

Military Considering Sending Additional Troops To Iraq,

WASHINGTON (AP) — American fighter jets and drones continued to pound Islamic State militants in Iraq Wednesday, and military planners weighed the possibility of sending a small number of additional U.S. troops to Baghdad, U.S. officials said, even as the insurgents threatened to kill a second American captive in retribution for any continued attacks.

The airstrikes came in the hours after militants released a gruesome video Tuesday showing U.S. journalist James Foley being beheaded and underscored President Barack Obama's vow Wednesday afternoon to continue attacks against the group despite its threats.

Islamic State threat 'beyond anything we've seen':

The sophistication, wealth and military might of Islamic State militants represent a major threat to the United States that may surpass that once posed by al Qaeda, U.S. military leaders said on Thursday.

"They are an imminent threat to every interest we have, whether it's in Iraq or anywhere else," Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel told reporters at the Pentagon.

Hagel's assessment of Islamic State, which gained strength during Syria's civil war and swept into northern Iraq earlier this summer, sounded a note of alarm several days after the group posted a video on social media showing one of its fighters beheading an American hostage kidnapped in Syria.

Asked if the hardline Sunni Muslim organization posed a threat to the United States comparable to that of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Hagel said it was "as sophisticated and well-funded as any group we have seen."

"They are beyond just a terrorist group. They marry ideology, a sophistication of ... military prowess. They are tremendously well-funded. This is beyond anything we've seen."
