The talking points from the "imam 0-bomb" regime to the left-wing lame stream moron media today had to contain the word "HOSTAGE"! Every talking head on the state-controlled media outlets says today, "the Republicans are holding legislation hostage"!
Yesterday it was, "extending the unemployment benefits will boost the economy"!
Now the most backward administration in the history of mankind is claiming if the unemployment benefits are not extended it will cost 600,000 jobs in 2011! The only way this could be true is if it's going to take 600,000 more trough sloppers to administer the extended benefits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, my brother-in-law who's been unemployed for 18 months now and doesn't plan on looking seriously for work until his unemployment compensation runs out in April! In the meantime he's been honing his pool shooting skills and now beats me on a regular basis- I don't have as much time to practice as he does.

At the moment I don't know a single person drawing unemployment! Most of the people I know are either ineligible for benefits or are too industrious to draw unemployment!
"imam 0-bomb's" vaunted "deficit reduction" commission meets for months and in the end 11 of 18 members vote for what they have concocted????????????? They needed 14 votes to recommend their bull shyt be instituted!
To top that the goofy leftist in charge DECLARES VICTORY???????????????
These are the dolts in charge of our nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

socialist dumkey news on several fronts today.
An over-the-cliff socialist dumkey Representative from Arizona whining because "imam 0-bomb" didn't consult with the House about blocking the "imam 0-bomb" tax hikes! This has to be the height of hypocrisy since nazi nancy's edict about the health care bill, rather than consult with the American people, was to say "we have to pass it to find out what's in it!"
A socialist dumkey in jail in LA is demanding kosher food so he can properly celebrate "festivus"!
The socialist dumkey mayor of Springfield, Illinois ate his shotgun because he hadn't paid his income taxes! Guess he couldn't get next to "turbo tax timmy"!

Have you heard about the drug wars in Mexico?

Just got this email today.. Another one of those Duh moments!!

quote:

What can we expect next? When I get just a bit complacent concerning national politics, BAM! Out of the chute comes more idiocity. Watching news I see where the U.S. has entered support to Guatamala to protect their borders from Mexican Drug Cartels. Over the summer months, D.C. with support from many corners of our nation, scorned the state of AZ in their efforts to protect our borders against illegal immigrants and all the crime and drugs connected with illegal entrants. Well now, here we go sending troops, arms, equipment and I need not mention the dollars, to assist in this effort to protect Guatamalan borders. WHAT THE HECK?

Has Nobama sent in the Green Berets to trai the Dallas PD like he did for Guatemala? Seems their borders are better protected than ours!! Especially if they open up on full "rock n roll" to protect their borders. Eyes

Send 3rd Corps to the Texas border, tanks and all. Put the 1rst Marine Divison along the California/Arizona border, then the 10th Mountain along the New Mexico border. Put the combat engineers to building a fence from Brownsville to San Diego

Fine the everloving shiot out of employers and the problem will ease a lot.

Not a lot to argue with there.. Never happen but it would be fun to listen to the hanky stompers whine about civil rights, torture, and such.. Even if they were to agree to troops on the border they wouldn't allow them to defend themselves (ROE).

A massive round up of all our brown skin brothers will never happen again. Which if our american's of mexican desent(and others)would agree to put up with profiling for a time it could work. Although fining employers would help there is no will to do that with our politicians, local or otherwise. Need to get re-elected dont cha know.. I would add a little jail time in the mix though.

I challenge anybody that reads this to deny that the leftists dumbing down of America isn't working!
Thomas Jefferson asserted in a letter in January 1789, shortly before the government under the new constitution was seated, "Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that, whenever things go so far wrong as to attract their notice, they can be relied on to set them to rights."
There is some cause for doubt as to whether the people currently are well-informed and can be trusted to set things right.
An on-line poll conducted earlier this month by Harris Interactive for the Bill of Rights Institute found that on the topic of the Bill of Rights-the first 10 amendments of the Constitution demanded by the Anti-Federalists and most states at the time of ratification-Americans are woefully ignorant, correctly answering questions about the document only 32 percent of the time.
Most revealing is that 42 percent of Americans believe the concept of "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" appears in one of the nations founding documents, usually attributed to the Bill of Rights.
It is, of course, Karl Marx's central tenet for communism.
This misapprehension revealed in the poll is jaw-dropping: 55 percent thought "education" was one of the five rights guaranteed by the first amendment.
Meanwhile, only one in five could correctly state the 10th Amendment reserves rights for the states and the people.
This was no fluke.
In 2009, the American Revolution Center surveyed 1,000 adult Americans about the events, personalities and principles of the Revolution. Fully 89 percent gave themselves a passing grade on their knowledge of the period, but nearly 83 percent flunked.
Even given multiple choice on 27 questions, those surveyed correctly answer only 44 percent.
Asked who said "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs," only 19 percent correctly answered Marx. Twenty-six percent failed to even venture a guess, while 21 percent said Thomas Paine, 19 percent said George Washington and 15 percent said Barack Obama.
Such surveys reveal an astounding ignorance of the founding principles and the ability of the average voter to grasp the political debate about capitalism's role in job creation.

"imam 0-bomb" blathered from his teleprompter while campaigning that "I will show the world that the US isn't a lawless land where people are held without charges being filed as they now are at Guantanamo!"
Now both "imam 0-bomb" and his ethics bereft Attorney General have postively stated, "if any of these prisoners are found innocent in a civilian court they will not be released into society!"
I must ask, which practice places the US in a darker light, holding terrorists indefinitely OR keeping people found innocent locked up???????????????

She also reported having to relocate because of all the eggs hitting her house.

She needs to invoke the "Rangle Rule". It worked for him so it should be legal for her.

Ex-car czar Rattner settles NY probe for $10M

NEW YORK (AP) -- The investment banker who helped lead the Obama administration's auto industry overhaul has agreed to pay $10 million to settle influence-peddling allegations in New York.

Former "car czar" Steven Rattner admitted no wrongdoing as part of the deal, which was announced by state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo on Thursday.

Cuomo's office had filed civil lawsuits against Rattner in November, accusing him of paying kickbacks to help his company land $150 million in state pension fund investments in 2004 and 2005. He denied the charges.

The attorney general had initially sought $26 million in fines and penalties and a lifetime ban from the securities industry. The settlement announced Thursday only bars Rattner from doing further business with any public pension fund in the state for five years.

Why didn't Cuomo prosecute him? Doesn't New York have laws against influence-peddling - or are the rules different for prominent Democrats?

The biggest Christmas present that many people will get this year comes from the federal government. And most will probably fritter it away.

Thanks to the tax bill that President Obama signed a week ago, a large number of Americans will get a year-long discount on their payroll taxes in 2011. Normally, employees pay 6.2 percent of their salaries, up to a $106,800 limit, toward Social Security. In 2011, that number will fall to 4.2 percent.

As a result, individuals could end up with a payroll tax savings of up to $2,136 in 2011, according to CCH, a tax information provider. Households with two wage earners who both make more than $106,800 will get $4,272, double the amount for individuals.

The self-employed will share in the year-long tax holiday as well, though they will still be on the hook for the full 6.2 percent of the employer contribution to Social Security. As a result, they’ll pay 10.4 percent in payroll taxes instead of the usual 12.4 percent.

Some government workers and others who do not contribute to Social Security will not get this temporary break. And as Roberton Williams of the Tax Policy Center pointed out in a blog post earlier this month, the payroll tax holiday represents a net loss for many low-income individuals, who will lose access to the Making Work Pay tax credit, which expires at the end of the year.

Still, the payroll tax break is a handout worth about $120 billion, according to the White House. And the administration hopes that you will spend every cent to help get the economy going again. In fact, the tax break was designed with just that in mind. When money dribbles into a paycheck, as this tax break will for many millions of workers, they tend not to save it in the same way that they might if it came in the form of a lump-sum check
