concession run out of food, must of been a good night. as far as not running norwalk, look around, i see a good number of former norwalk regulars now regulars at qcmp. if you want to meet me, come up while we are running jrs and introduce yourself since you do not have the sac to use your real name, hater

just an fyi, i will not reply back to anymore of your school games, you clearly stick out like the a$$ you are. Maybe we will be able to look over saturday and see you sitting in your dan and ann pop up trailer Busted

Really??? You been stuck on the PRP topic so long you haven't read the pages here?

Thanks prest911... glad to see someone is paying attention. My only complaint is the late night. Earlier start with special events or calling cars on time would be a big improvement like mentioned. Most of us can't spend the night and have long drives home. With family and the late nights it is really hard.

Why do I ask about the concession stand?? When was the last time you saw that place run out of food? Speaks volumes of the car count. Speaks volumes for those of us that are glad to see a new owner and track program.

As for the old days, it used to be a midnight finish with a 6-7 round race meaning the car count was this high. It wasn't until the last 3-5 years that the cars all left. Glad to see most of them have come back.

Now rich.. go back to your world of negativity. This is 2011 man and a new QCMP. No negativity here, just simply making statements of fact.

now thats funny, people are talking all good and you, "who is afraid to use a real name" jumps right in to nit pick a few little things that may have not went perfect instead of adding to the good. if you are not man enough to sign your post but want to do constructive criticism, whats that make you, and your comments are not cunstructive they are just trying to point out the wrongs. no suggestion by you on thoughts of possibly fixing a problem except start on time.

being that we are in jrs, i along with other parents appreciate the fact that when we are sitting in the finals that the track does not make us sit while running all of mod, bike, top then us along with not calling big cars while parents are trying to get the kids to the lanes. 15 minutes i dont think is really going to stop a late night with big car counts.

rich78... take a look at my posts here to the new management. Never have I said the track is not hard working or putting on a good program. I asked for the schedule and they posted it on the site and I shared the link here. Just a simple statement of opinion on the hours. I think I have the right to that.

Now looking at some of your post, you have successfully managed to cut down a PRP racer or 2 on there topic and even called the green1 an a$$h0le. Seems like you have the negativity issue. Really it is not needed here. We are all happy with the schedule, payouts, track and staff. I think the only concern is the late nights that have happened and looking to prevent them. On time starts help and as suggested moving the program up for special events.

Have a good day rich.

I have to admit that I was probably one of the most critical and negative people on this website during the past when the former ownership ran this place. However, I have to say that Norm, Greg, and staff are doing an outstanding job. I am sure the late nights are not cheap for Norm as he has to pay those huge light bills. Personnally, I like running at night. But I am sure that if the staff could have the lights on for a little less time, that would benefit the ownership and if we could provide suggestions on how that could be done, well then maybe one of those suggestions might be the answer.

However, I have to say, this is a great problem to have. So many cars that the track has to run late....wow.

Now Rich78, your posts are and have been negative. I too have read some of your posts towards others at PRP and really have gotten the impression that you need to relax. You really do not have any reason to be defendding or agreeing with QCMP since as you stated you are part of the Jrs. crowd and you are done by 6pm every Saturday. The rest of us are still there past midnight and if we have constructive ways to reduce that time, then that affects us and not you. No one is stating Jrs should be removed or anything, so RELAX.

By the way, my name is Bobby Buchette...former waterboy for the Mississippi Mud Dogs and huge fan of Capt. Insano....and I run a dragster at the track every weekend.

The late start hurt me from racing all season, but I have to admit that with the huge car count I think whatever Greg and staff is doing is working. I'm sure Greg will try to move it along in upcomming weeks. I'm looking forward to bringing the GTO back out of retirement this weekend.

On the Quaker City home page they're saying there were 327 cars racing this past Saturday. About how many were the UMTR cars ?
I was at Thompson for the Asphalt Wars race and I could see the pits weren't near as full as they were last season with the bracket cars.

If all everybody does is preach about good things and never speak up about things that went wrong(yes some things have went wrong) then they will never know about them and make improvements on them. Calling the stick shift cars up with top was a mistake for first time run causing a clusterfuk but it was corrected for second time run. I had a problem a few weeks ago with the starting line, was .08 off in 60' and told Greg about it but I must of been the only one who's junk has that problem. Also told Greg about my car running .03-.04 difference lane to lane this past weekend and he said I was the only one with that problem but I really believe I am the only one speaking up. The difference between the lanes is no big deal as long as it is that way every time so you know to dial it that way. To end this statement I didn't talk bad about anybody or point fingers just stated what was going on with my car to him and we talked it over.

Green1 -

I agree that if there is a problem that we should address it but I believe the problem regarding funneling everyone through one opening to the staging lanes has been addressed several times in person and was mentioned a couple of times here. I am not sure what more we can do, besides wait to see if they make a change this upcoming weekend so that all us Top guys arent piled up near the concession stand. I will guarentee that they will not call UMTR racers at the same time this week. Smile

Seriously, I personnally saw at least 10 people approach the staff regarding this situation. I am sure the information got back. Now we have to wait and see how it is changed this year. Every week something is changed in order to remedy a situation that has occurred. I believe they are working through it. Not sure about the lane issue thing...did not notice that difference on my ride yet.

No one is sugar-coating all the stuff...but you have to admit that there are a lot more good things happening than bad. As far as the funneling of cars goes...you ought to thank those that were being dishonest and not paying for the troubles that we are all dealing with. Hopefully, those jacka$$es are reading this. Momma says they are the DEVIL.

Bowtie this week was the first time this year that it has happened and yes they have been doing good job a fixing the litte things that have come up but without people speaking up they may not know about some of these things. Yes there are a lot of good things happening and a lot of it goes to Gregs credit but also a lot goes to Norms credit for getting the track out of Dan and Anns hands. I am really looking forward to a bright future there and hope they catch those ba$tards. I plan on double dipping this weekend but going to pay for both classes. I hope the cheap crowd on the other side of the track get their moneys worth this weekend!
