With that little clearance I THINK when you hit it the motor moves back and can take out your transmission pump and damage your thrust bearing. | Flexplate orientated correctly? I like removing paint from flexplate crank mounting surface as well. Same with bolt face side. |

| ^^^^ On my .090 midplate converter the donut that fits into the back of the crank was lengthened. I believe this was the only difference from standard for me. |
